Also I think it is funny that ALL of them have gone to see Oasis this year, separately, given their history between the two bands

They have always ignored it when it comes to touring...

1997 they went back twice! In spring (Taiwan, South Korea, Bali) and Spiceworld promo (Singapore, and somewhere I forgot lol)

fair dues.

I never understood why they didnt go back there for touring! I know the 1998 tour stopped in September because of the pregnancies (as there were rumours/plans they were going to continue to other territories before).

And in 2007/2008 they even announced dates for the region but obviously it all came to a halt... They really f***ed up there...

I could see them easily selling Singapore and Japan, China, Australia and New Zealand, do a couple of Brazil and Mexico too... but alas...

Honestly, it's Simon Fuller's fault. He didn't planned the World tour to include beyond North America so they just finished the tour as it was planned. Plus, they were pregnant already so chances were they would have cancelled them.

Victoria Beckham has said that she found being asked about her time in the Spice Girls "quite triggering".

The 51-year-old star is the subject of a new Netflix documentary series, which is simply titled Victoria Beckham, and she found being interviewed about her girl band past "almost like therapy" because she has struggled with her time in the group overshadowing her fashion career.

She told the Sunday Times Style magazine: “I’ve been defined by a four-year period in my life. That was the Spice Girls.

“It’s taken me almost two decades to fight that and I feel that only now can I look back and talk about it. I’m not going to lie, being asked questions about when I was in the Spice Girls was quite triggering. And I’d say those were the most difficult moments. It was almost like therapy for me.”

However, Victoria insisted she is "so proud" of everything she achieved with the group and is still in contact with all her bandmates.

She said: "I love the Spice Girls. I really do. And it’s been great reflecting on that time. The other night I had dinner with Emma and Geri, and Mel B messaged me at the weekend. I still speak to all of the girls.

"I’m so proud of everything we did. I wouldn’t have been who I am now if it wasn’t for the Spice Girls, 100 per cent."

They all look incredible but Geri's face looks odd

Omg Geri, please better stay at bed with this dress. She looks horrible.

Emma simply incredible

The looks Emma is serving lately, she looks like she's about to promote her brand new new solo album which is full of original and career highlight songs! Alas...

Victoria's documentary re: Spice Girls.... I will preface this post by saying I haven't actually watched it for myself, but from what I've read, it's all a bit meh.

She claims that David had to convince her to take part in the 2007/8 tour:

When I was working with Roland [Mouret] the other Spice Girls told me they wanted to go on tour. David was like, you know, ‘It’s really good for the kids to see you do this,’” she said. In a cutaway, David told the camera: “Our kids weren’t around to see their mum be a Spice Girl.” Victoria added: “He mum-guilted me!"

While I think it's evident that by the end of the tour Victoria was over it, I personally don't believe she was reluctant before it began... thinkingI mean, she was in full-on WAG / reality TV show mode at that point.

Also, she made a comment about Mel B:

“One of the girls actually said to me, and it did upset me not too long ago actually,” Victoria recalled in episode two of the docuseries. “It was Melanie B who said to me, ‘Don’t forget where you’ve come from.’” But as the 51-year-old explained, “I have never forgotten where I come from. I’ve never, ever forgotten that Posh Spice is the reason that I’m sitting here now. She might have been grumpy, but she was actually great.”

The reports about this aren't very clear about when it happened, "not too long ago" suggests 2018/19 tour era to me? Some articles claim 2007/8 but that was clearly a long time ago lol.

lol it was definitely 2018 when it was reported that Mel B talked to Victoria one last time before they announced the tour but Victoria still said no. She can say whatever she want now but as a fan she really treated her time as a spice girl as that wasn't meant to be taken seriously then. Remember she said they turned off her mic every nights during the tour???

I think she is doing a little bit of revisionism there for the sake of the documentary and to portray herself as 'already over it' when she was actually one of the driving forces back then with Geri and Emma. There's pictures and rumours from the end of 2006 about it and she was the one who got Simon back on board too...

She changed her mind afterwards of course and we know she lost her passion for performing during that tour, and that's fine but naaaa I think she is changing the narrative to suit her on this. She also says in the documentary that she has been working for the establishment of her label for 20 years, which would have been in 2005 and that's just not true either LOL

In other news, back in 1998 apparently Geri called Ben Elton (who used to write and direct films and TV shows) to get him and Richard Curtis (of Love Actually fame) to write a sit-com to the group. It never materialised because Geri left the band literally the following week 🥲

Lol how curious that Geri put that idea in motion only to leave so suddenly. That could have been an interesting thing to materialise.

Mark Ronson says he would be honoured to work with the Spice Girls! He often makes remixes and edits of their tracks for his own pleasure...

I mean, come on.... Mark Ronson is a legend and a pretty top notch producer (the stuff he has been doing with RAE won her like 6 brit awards lol)...

Why the hell are they not in a studio with him right now? For f***s sake...
