Granted I'm not that much older but it's kinda scary that we've reached the point where people aren't fully aware of who the Spice Girls are!

What I find interesting is how iconic the film has become. A 17 year old basically saying she watched the film before getting into them musically.

It makes me sad that people growing in their teens now have bypassed the Spice Girls and don't even know who they are :(

According to The Sun the Spice Girls have landed a lucrative deal for Walkers Crisps 22 years on from their first endorsement deal, including a brand new advert to air this Summer

Walkers tweeted a Spice fan that tweeted about the crisps 2 days ago a reply that basically hinted they were coming back (the Spice Girls packets) and on Vimeo it seems there is a storyboard working of the advert that is I'm sure supposed to be private.

 

The drawn story board Advert has the 4 Spice Girls visiting their biggest fan with a house full of memorabilia and the meet is being broadcast. They spot his Walkers crisps and set about taking crisps off him till he snaps and says no to them taking crisps and calls them karaoke singers. Cut to people all over the world in absolute shock, even Gary Lineker drops a crisp, and the girls leave in a car as they guy shouts come back, Geri always comes back'.

 

Seems very funny and tongue in cheek.

The videos look amazing, finally got round to watching Wannabe and WDYTYA on my TV and they look incredible. It is such a stark contrast to watching the Stop video straight after them. Well done to whoever decided on doing this.

WDYTYA video is really amazing in 4k...it looks even more colorful….

 

And I'm in love with the blond dude with eyeglasses…surely he has become an handsome dilf…. :wub:
