December 2, 20177 yr great to see Jax Jones going top 50 and not getting completely swept up by the Christmas season. will probably be a reasonable hit in the new year. Can My Way by One Bit and Noah Cyrus (#126) please become a hit in the new year too? I much prefer it to the Jax and Ina track!

December 2, 20177 yr I expect Dimelo & Mamacita to be 2 & 3 soon. 44. Clean Bandit - Symphony Blimey Edited December 2, 20177 yr by cqmerqn
December 2, 20177 yr Why are you comparing them? Cant they both be hit singles? Its just more to my tastes! Well its quite obvious the Jax and Ina one is going to be a hit, I would just like 'My Way' to join it.
December 2, 20177 yr *fastlove Has it occurred to all those moaning that posters are moaning about Ed trying to get to no.1 because they don’t want him to go to no.1 because they don’t like the song? Has the Chart Forum become so clinical that opinions are frowned upon? There's a difference between 'I don't like Ed Sheeran's music and don't want it to be #1' and 'Ed Sheeran is desperate and cringeworthy for wanting to be #1'. ~ Solo version of 'Perfect' down to #8 now, looks like it'll be out of the top 10 pretty soon especially with XF related boosts incoming. edit: actually now #9 (overtaken by Rak-Su's 'I'm Feeling You' which is back up to #6).
December 2, 20177 yr I really like the original of Perfect (aside from a couple of the lyrics) but don't think the Beyonce version is particularly great. It doesn't suit her voice that well and the late 90s Steve Mac style Westlife/Boyzone festive ballad strings that I like so much in the original have been watered down. Having said that, good for him on getting another #1 from Divide. The only thing this campaign lacked in comparison to X was a second No.1 single, so here it is! And if this is a Xmas No.1 to boot then good for him, it's one of the only notable things he hasn't achieved in his career so far.
December 2, 20177 yr There's a difference between 'I don't like Ed Sheeran's music and don't want it to be #1' and 'Ed Sheeran is desperate and cringeworthy for wanting to be #1'. It’s still an opinion and it’s not a reach to think that either. And I still don’t understand why posters should be criticised for thinking it just because they post on a chart forum.
December 2, 20177 yr It’s still an opinion and it’s not a reach to think that either. And I still don’t understand why posters should be criticised for thinking it just because they post on a chart forum. It's absolutely a reach unless you think literally any promotion of a current single is 'desperate'... I didn't see anyone calling, for example, Little Mix desperate for releasing new collaborative versions of their songs post album release, or for performing on the X Factor. Why is it different for Ed to do that? As for the latter part MishaB was just pointing out the irony of posters on a chart forum essentially criticising Ed Sheeran for caring about charts. I don't think that was meant to be more than a throwaway observation.
December 2, 20177 yr Not a bad boost at all for PRETTYMUCH! Hope radio get on board now or it'll fall like a brick.
December 2, 20177 yr It's not random. She performed it at the Grammys, recorded a studio version for George's film, and George died at Christmas. It makes perfect sense to release it as a single at Christmas. Wouldn't be surprised if it was just a free download on her website or something though rather than a full single. Oh right  Didn't watch the Grammys And omg someone else said X Factor copied her arranen of it?? Shocking!! Imagine if she released it at the same tme as Kevin winning, releasing an absolute rip off of her version, which she was releasing to honour George and not for personal benefit?! X Factor = shameful

December 2, 20177 yr I wonder why I don't visit this forum often anymore then I read this thread and the needless stick Ed Sheeran is getting and I'm reminded why. Always the same on here berate successful male artists and praise or hype anyone with a vagina. It gets really old.
December 3, 20177 yr 'I'm Feeling You' back up to #4 now. Surprising that this is the one that has reclimbed so much even though they didn't even perform it tonight. 'Dimelo' at #15, 'Mamacita' at #16 and 'Mona Lisa' at #23.

People used to make the same comments about the likes of Westlife and McFly though for purely promoting and tbf X Factor and releasing a remix with a huge star is pretty much the 2017 equivalent of releasing multiple CD singles. And in reference to a different post, I won’t have this ‘buzzjack hates male artists’ rubbish being spouted around. It’s such a tired and lazy reasoning for people not liking your faves. Ed Sheeran is not all male artists. If Stereophonics, the Killers or Arctic Monkeys we’re doing anything in the charts I’d be loving it and not criticising.

It's inarguably true that the general trend on Buzzjack is for female pop artists though? Just look at the ongoing Record of the Year results, that illustrates it perfectly. I don't know why people are always called out for pointing this out. It doesn't mean that 'Buzzjack hates male artists' either, just the forum naturally leans towards female artists. He does need to go away for a few years now though Ed Sheeran.

My issue solely came from the claim one poster made that posters only hate Ed because of his penis which is simply untrue.

There is a lot of liking for Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Liam Gallagher, 21 Pilots and Bastille too, Craig David seems to be the only male pop star that seems to be well liked on Buzzjack, the rest of the male artists being indie/alternative or male rappers or male dance producers.
