Kamferdrops, a mysterious Scandinavian dance outfit (potentially solely) consisting of relatively unknown Norsk singer Heidi Musum, have taken Sweden by storm due to their cover of the 1999 Kikki Danielsson & Ole Ivars hit "Jag trodde änglarna fanns" (which was a massive streaming success) and their cover of "Tusen Bitar" by Anne Linnet.

Kamferdrops have recently been confirmed to be taking part in the Melodifestivalen 2018 heats for their chance to represent Sweden in the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest.

I think they have MASSIVE potential and with a proper English-speaking song I think could break out across Europe - potentially crossing over to the UK if they have another Spotify-leaning hit like "Jag trodde änglarna fanns".

Tusen Bitar is so good again!! I'm so excited to see what they bring at Melfest, really intriguing choice to compete but could be a total winner <3
I need these to be on Eurovison, Jag trodde änglarna fanns is amazing and the video is even better
They're amazing. There's a Xmas mix of Jag trodde änglarna fanns on Spotify (Jul remix) which is sooo good. I never realised how much I needed bells on this track.

Yyyyaaassss. I had no idea they had another song

So excited to hear more from them. Jag trodde änglarna fanns is one of my fave songs of the year!

I absolutely adore Jag trodde anglarna fanns (maybe even my favourite 'foreign' BJSC hit of 2017) and Tusen Bitar is also very strong so I'm loving their material so far! I'm still not entirely sold by them until they release an original song but the production values and ear for a melody on these two songs so far suggest they'd be able to produce something good. I'm really interested to see what they come up with for Melodifestivalen!

They've released another song with both Swedish and German versions, a cover of Nicole's 1982 Eurovision winner for Germany Ein bißchen Frieden, the English version of which was the 1000th UK number 1!
