But that's what has made Jax Jones stand out from the crowd - the minimal sound actually sounds more because of the ridiculously OTT production on so many other tracks surrounding it lately. Refreshing! :)

yeah, this to me looks like it's shaping up to be pretty big once the Christmas songs fall away. :o

 

It'll be so weird if it's actually a bigger hit than 'Instruction' with the star power that had attached and it sounding like a bigger hit, but I'm 100% backing this to smash.

 

Jax Jones can pretty much do no wrong for me. :wub:

 

I think the best dance tracks with female vocalists have more unknown or upcoming vocalists. Rudimental and Disclosure especially were great at this.

I suppose so, but some ambient background synths in various places (inspired by those in the likes of EBTG - Missing (Todd Terry remix) would have kept the cool minimal sound but added more atmosphere to the song and a bit more life to it.

 

The vocal of 'Breathe' I think is fabulous though for all my complaining. :D

It looks like 'Instruction' not doing as well as 'You Don't Know Me' has prompted Jax Jones to go back to a more minimal 'cooler sounding' production style which is disappointing for me as I don't really like such minimal bass house/deep house production.
