Don't go breaking my heart

 

Waiting is next out. Featuring the album's signature spoken lyrics, and R&B backing, it's a song about unrequited love and rejection. The song shows progression from Madonna demanding answers from her lover to an eventual outburst and aggressive ending. It tells a story of heartbreak and patience but ultimately owning the rejection. The song returned at the end of the album (and was the first to be eliminated here) but the original version has done fairly well, just missing out on midtable.
