Still can’t get over 8.2m and I’m revelling in it before it takes a noticeable dip next week!! As Michael said, highest share since Series 1 too is absolutely incredible!

What other show can get an increase of 3.5m from it’s 10th/36th series opener to its 11th/37th series opener.

Wow, impressive iPlayer figures there!!

When will people's Bodyguard faves???

DREADFUL for EE on the Tuesday.

I wonder if The X Factor will drop below 4m anytime soon?

Surely they must see EE is close to the axe and something is VERY wrong?!

That something being THE CARTERS

Doc Who biggest BBC drama success in YEARS!!

And the first episode of Doctor Who becomes the HIGHEST RATED SHOW OF THE WEEK with 10.9m! The Saturday ep of Strictly is JUST behind whilst the Sunday ep got 9.9m. The Bake Off got 8.9m

This is like the second time I've probably looked at BARB since it added catch-up ratings - the F1 adds over 6m because of it, with over 2m watching on their smartphone wtf??? Compared with the 22,000 people watching Doctor Who on their smartphone. I know less people are going to watch a drama on a crap screen but there's a ridiculous difference there...

I'm pretty sure that's only the second time in New Who's history that it's been the most watched programme of the week (after 'Journey's End').

What did The Apprentice launch with?

BARB/Thinkbox Ratings (7-Day Data): 1st October - 7th October

6.56m - The Apprentice (BBC 1)

The Apprentice has 7.05m

Up from last year's 6.49m with 6.67m in the 28 day data.

That’s so odd, why did it increase

People get into it as the series progresses.

The Apprentice once again increased to 5.1m last night with a share of 25.8%

A few other programmes from last night:-

The Parachute Murder Plot: 2.9m

Grand Designs: 2.0m

How to Get a Good Night's Sleep: 1.2m

Trust: 600k

The Bisexual: 370k

Zapped: 260k

Edited by gavindeejay

I feel like it could hit as low as 3.8m which would be beyond tragic.

The 28 day data has the Bodyguard finale at 17.1m making it the biggest record audience for a TV drama EVER in the UK!

It’s the highest rating for a non-sporting/national event since 2010 too (I think that means since either the BGT or X Factor final)!
