Anyway this has been on repeat all morning <3

I much prefer the video to the actual song but together they work really well. The song is really nice.. I think I wanted more but it's indescribable what I actually wanted because I've had so many emotions towards her over the past 12 months. I'll continue listening to the song and it'll no doubt grow into something huge for me. I really like but it's not LOVE atm.

First listen: It's good, but not what I expected. The verses are a bit TOO different to the chorus and I feel like they don't flow well at all and can be quite jarring.

 

Second listen: The chorus is the best thing. Verses still need work/feel like they belong to a different song, but it's growing.

 

Third listen, first with video: R.I.P. ME. All issues I had with the song originally are already gone 🙃

 

THAT CHORUS is so ethereal and just stunning. :wub: It's so 90's with a modern twist. The little twinkly parts in the chorus remind me of Cheryl 'Fight For This Love'. It's a huge grower!

Omg this was literally me 😂 I’ve gone from thinking it’s just okay to amazing in like an hour.

 

The video really brings it to life and there is something so powerful / emotive about it all :wub: I like that it isn’t too in your face as well. Well done Miss Grande

I guess it's a good plan to possibly get a #1 debut but it seems kinda silly to do it already as this is the week all the fans would buy it regardless

This is great on first listen, it’s glossy and euphoric but beautiful at the same time. It doesn’t sound disjointed to me either, just not maybe as conventionally structured as most pop songs are these days but not to the extent that I found it jarring on first listen. Gives me slight Flashdance vibes too, really excellent lead single.

It's not what I thought it was gonna be, mainly due to the report that was like "everyone was in hysterical tears" or whatever

Don't know how I feel about this - might grow but right now I feel like just falls a bit flat?

 

Probably going to get killed for this opinion but I don't think it works tbh, sounds like three different songs all combined into one and that kinda ruins the flow and progression of the track, it's a bit clunky and disjointed.

Love this so much, even if it’s not what I was expecting at all. That chorus is undeniable.

The video is a masterpiece. She looks more beautiful than ever, that plaited ponytail 😍

I think it's pretty amazing! It's exactly what I was imagining actually, even the video, the styling is a lot different though but I love it.

It's not what I expected at all but it's such a great song. I think the video REALLY sells it. As a whole package - wow!

Really enjoying the whole package on first listen! I got the 'disjointed' comments initially but it all fell into place by the time the second chorus came around for me. The video is a thrilling experience alongside too. I'm so glad this turned out to be strong after all the hype, I love the general vibes of 'No Tears Left To Cry' and it feels so different to anything else in the chart right now.

I think this relies more on hype than the actual song tbh, it's fine but nothing special.
