Only You bagging a platinum certification was something I didn't see coming lol but yay! Another platinum certification is really amazing, especially for a single that peaked at #13 in 2018..

I'm so SO happy their most underrated single is now Platinum! This pops off EVERY TIME live. :heart:

Really? It's 'only' on 383K now. Is it likely to sell 217K just from trickle streams in a year? That would probably be more than it sold in it's entire top 40 run. :lol:

I'm confident it'll go platinum eventually. I think it will be on a similar timescale to Only You which just went platinum last week. So we're looking at summer 2022 :lol:

It's not unlikely at all. It'll be platinum in a year; trickle sales will increase once the album is out anyway.

And Break Up Song hasn’t even had a tv performance yet... if it he pandemic didn’t happen and it was promoted the way it was supposed to be I dare say it would be platinum now

I mean, it was only just over a year ago that a certain poster was complaining about Woman Like Me's sales. And even though it was on a different ratio to their biggest hits, is still coming for a million seller status. It's actually technically their 4th biggest hit ever!

I just mean that, they're always going to be very consistent sellers, especially their singles released when streaming really took off. Even Wasabi is only 40k away from silver! So given Only You - a song I wouldn't say was quite as big as BUS initially - has just gone platinum, I'd say BUS will do it with ease, and in a short time space too!

BUS should be gold in the next month!
