Where are you getting these numbers from? Half of them never made the top 200 on iTunes or Spotify ever and the ones that did (Wings, Black Magic and Shout Out) were very minor hots. These figures seem like a huge stretch. Love Me Like You doing 500K?

I said these are what they could potentially have if Columbia updated their sales. I don't think I am too far off. Black Magic & Wings have both been already certified gold, they will definitely be platinum by now, if not 2x platinum. It's not unrealistic.

Love Me Like You is probably the biggest stretch out of all these estimates, but it's not impossible. It was just a rough indication of how much they could increase their total WW sales by if Columbia update their certifications.

But Wings and Black Magic got certified Gold because they had a promo cycle (radio, TV, performances) and charted because of it. They're not going to sell another 500K without that? Especially as has been pointed out, they've been nowhere near the top 200 on any metric in years?

And if Love Me Like You actually hasn't charted or there's been zero indication it's sold so much, then it's a bit pointless guessing or assuming it's figures?

Seems a bit pointless claiming songs have sold certain figures when there's nothing to back it up. We could just assume they've sold anything in that case.

Black Magic has definitely crossed the Plat mark in US.. its nearing 800m views on YT and I'm sure a decent amount of those views would come from there! Also, Sweet Melody has apparently just crossed 100k in US with the label doing absolutely nothing for them so I'm sure some of the sales are reachable like SOTME etc.

There was clearly a discussion about their sales not being updated, I was just simply stating if Columbia updated them it would boost their WW sales by a huge amount - I never said those were correct figures, just what is likely.

And as Robbie said, if Sweet Melody & Wasabi can sell both 100k without any promo, the songs that did get pushed could receive a lot more sales than you think!

It's really not that serious.

There was nothing rude in what was said though.

I think it’s perfectly fair to say that we can’t be making up numbers.

I personally don’t think they’ve sold that much in the US. Maybe half that at a push

They’ve def sold that much in the US. the streams that album/singles have been gaining for like nearly 5 years (in fact over 5 years) build up. If Sweet Melody can do 100k in this amount of time w/how their popularity is there currently then there’s nothing too crazy about these estimates considering during the GW era they were still somewhat “known” in the US. There are so many songs that haven’t even touched any metric in the US from other artists and are certified gold due to the length of time.

Interesting that the sales compared to last week for Confetti are only down 300 sales (so the 15% off did it's job I think) but they had a biggish drop in chart position! Sales are starting to pick up again, but I can low-key see them climbing to about 12 again this week, but we'll see. *falls out of the top 20*

Increase in sales since last update:

+21,962 Sweet Melody > Overtakes the last known total for 'DNA' in their best sellers list. BUS next week. <

+11,739 No Time For Tears

---

+3,083 Confetti > HALF WAY TO PLATINUM. YAY! <

I wonder if the David Guetta release can push 'Confetti' over 4k again when it's released next week? Whenever they release anything, they seem to get a discography boost of some sort. So I guess we'll see?

Looks like it’s going to be a slow slog for NTFT to reach silver

What about sales this week ? :)

Thks :)

Love Me Or Leave Me goes silver (200.000) this week.
