Where do these figures come from? ^ It was on the Hot 100 for like four weeks and peaked at 67. It hasn't been in the top 200 of any metric (Spotify, Apple, Amazon, iTunes, YouTube) since then and it's now a multi platinum single?

But it has been out for 7 years in a country with 330,000,000 people.

That is only 285,000 copies a year. It sounds a lot but not amongst that many people. All it'll take is that small group of fans over there.

Residual streams and such, it is a 7 year old single and it did have a burst in America (plus during Halloween it gets a lil' rise) so I'm not shocked it eventually crossed that line

Eight weeks actually (five weeks in the top 75), which is pretty decent for song that only peaked at #67.

Still probably unlikely to have sold that much. It was only gold certified a couple of years back.

It has 490million streams on spotify which is equivalent to 3.3million units sold.

Obviously there's other streaming services and download/ actual sales too. Almost 2 million of its copies are sold in UK. It's certifications add another 750k across 9 countries. So that's 2.75million there. So unless there's some serious pure sales going on then I'm not sure.

Be great if it has though.

I’m sure ChartData also reported a while back that it had surpassed 300 million on-demand streams in the US, so I could see it crossing 2 million units.
I don't doubt the 2 million sales info. It's still their most-streamed song on YouTube - surely counts for something
I don't doubt it either - "Black Magic" seemed like their one proper attempt to properly "break" the US market and still pops up every now and then in tv shows. Passive sales are thing - with that said, RIAA doesn't update their sales automatically, so unless we get a proper sales update from Billboard we might not know for sure.

Wow that’s raked up sales quickly!

Bring on a Mill!

A fair few things to update on the first page...Mods?

Do we have any updated sales since Nov 2021? Interesting to see if their GH helped boost their dwindling singles (there's around 3 songs approaching 1m with over 900,000 I think?)

also curious to know what SOTME's sales are

Updated with the last couple of bits of info from when I last updated it in this thread.

Do we have anymore sales info that I perhaps missed?
