#10: Migos f/Lil Uzi Vert - “Bad & Boujee" [9 Votes // 25.00%]

Lead single, Slippery

Peak: #1 (3 weeks)

After being caught in two ties, “Bad & Boujee” manages to leave. Alone it would have been just another Migos single but after it became the butt of the “rain drop, drop top” meme (that I somehow missed until seeing it on the React Channel), it began its rise to stardom. This combined with a shout-out by Childish Gambino helped it gain enough traction and attention to warrant itself three weeks at #1 in between “Shape Of You”’s massive 12-week run. The song was certified 4x Platinum in the US and landed in #6 in Billboard’s Year End chart for 2017.

It’s decent enough on its own and pretty catchy (as a lot of Migos songs are, see “Fight Night”), but I don’t really mind its exit considering people turned it into a novelty song. It’s a lot better than “Man’s Not Hot” though.

Meh 'Bad And Boujee' was probably my favourite song on the list (omg Brade not having the same opinion I know) bar maybe 'HUMBLE.' but it was obviously not gonna last long, genuinely kind of impressed it even got through the first round.

Taylor for the third time xx

Another great song leaves :(

Surely Perfect next to go, which I wouldn't mind too much as I'm pretty bored of it now.

Sorrrry :kink: the chorus is pretty weak. At least we're in agreement that 'HUMBLE.' is fab *.*

I have gone for 'Perfect' now, the Beyoncé version has made me go off it a bit. There are no songs left that I dislike though really.

Not exactly shocked to see it go, but 'Bad And Boujee' is one of my favourite #1s of the decade. At least it didn't end up in last place.

Hopefully we can get rid of 'Perfect' this time.

I can see Bad & Boujee becoming one of those nostalgic classic hip hop hits of its time in the vein of In Da Club or Gold Digger. Memes aside, Offset's verse & hook are killer.

Perfect is still bland though.

Bad and Boujee is pretty bad so glad to see it out (although I've only just seen Despacito came last, that's absolutely ridiculous).

Kendrick again for me.
