71 in UK sold 5.7k so Dancing must have sold 5k + again. Must be 70k now.

It would be near 70,000 and in time i think 100,000 is possible.

So it's easily outsold (or very close to outselling) Into The Blue. Thrilled with that result!

Still top 40 on tunes 100 days after release and streaming still ok. Should do another 2k this week

She performed 'Dancing' and 'Can't Get You Out of My Head' (presumably so the wider American public could remember who she is! :P) on Late Night With Seth Meyers:

 

 

 

I feel 'Stop Me From Falling' would be the better song to push in the US, but I guess 'Dancing' is the one that has been taking off in the clubs. I'm unsure at how well 'Dancing' is translating live; it just doesn't seem to have the same uplifting feel that the studio version has, plus I find her pronunciation a little off putting: "DENCING"

That was a pretty bad performance, it was just so flat.

She doesn't seem to be having any luck with the 'Dancing' performances, which is a shame because I'm sure the Saturday Night Live performance (i.e. the first) was really good.

Apparently it's not one of the big ones like Jimmy Fallon or Ellen. When I checked US iTunes this morning, there was no sign of the single and the album was in the 400s.

 

I think Good Morning America and the James Cordon one will have bigger effects.

I’ve been at all her promo in NY (Pictures on the promo thread). There is sadly little interest in her - there have been around 10 fans at each appearance (There were a lot at AOL today but it’s a hotspot to meet/see celebrities). Hopefully the GMA performance in Times Square should give ‘Dancing’ a boost.

 

She needs to spend longer than a week in the US to have any sort of impact however ‘Golden’ did go T75 on Billboard.
