Dancing performance was amazing

Been getting into this a lot over the last week or so. It's such a cute pop bop. :wub:

 

And both performances on SNT were very good, especially the medley!

The saturday night take away of dancing really sold the song to me, its stuck in my head now and its finally clicked with me.

 

Loved the medley especially the loco motion as it was the original version rather than the awful swing version which i hate.

Sadly streaming worldwide us about 75k only...... probably about 14k in UK only. Not going to give her hardly any sales. Sad .....

Currently #35 in the midweeks and sold 3.9k so far.

 

'Dancing' has moved 12-12-3-2 on the UK Upfront Club Chart (the #1, Axwell & Ingrosso's 'Dreamer' has just 2% more support) and 18-5-2-3 on the Commercial Pop Club Chart.

She would need to achieve at least another 3.9 sales or higher to enter the top 40. Top 40 seems wishful thinking, even a re-peak this week would be wonderful for her. Dancing is easily worthy of a top 40 placing.

It's a real shame that they had to bring this forward, she'd easily have been top 40 if they could have kept the original date.

to be honest Dancing is holding up really well on Itunes..... in that release week where she was 47th she had dropped right down Itunes on Mon-Thurs so i doubt she will drop that much from 35th...... if Itunes keep the same. She is still top 10 and green in last update. .....

I was thinking this. It would have probably debuted as high as 25ish, also it would have stayed high on iTunes for a long time and would have probably picked up good airplay from Capital and Heart.

I had hoped a Best of by Kylie would be showing in the top 100 of the midweeks today as SNT medley would surely have attracted some sales.

Dancing about to lose its iTunes top 10 spot. Not falling rapidly but a few songs are dark green and Kylie stalling. If she can stay top 15 today that would be brilliant. The remix is still trickling in a few sales and all add up

She has stayed top 10 much longer than i expected, Dancing, in that respect has held up well. Again, streaming is what is holding her back.

Airplay isnt helping then by those placements.

It actually has helped in terms of Dancing hanging around in the iTunes Top 100 for weeks. That level of airplay wouldn’t be particularly beneficial for streaming; she needs to be playlisted for that to properly get going.

 

Dancing has been streamed over 111,000 times in the UK this week so far (Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, but Spotify/Apple data is missing for Monday). That makes Dancing the least streamed song in the midweeks Top 100.

That airplay is pretty decent considering it's pretty much only from Radio 2. Their support is definitely why it's stuck around on iTunes.

Well at least she is not dropping too fast on ITunes. 15th at moment. hopefully stay top 20 tonight then top 30 and probably top 40 on Thursday. New Illyus and Barrientos remix out Friday but not sure this will achieve anything as you hardly hear her on it.
