Females definitely struggle on streaming services. Out of the top 100 most streamed songs, there are only about 7 female only songs and only 3 in the top 50 (Hello, Chandelier and Cheap Thrills)

Now though, there being less female artists doing well on streaming services is maybe because urban music has dominated recently and there are lots more male than female popular urban performers around at the minute?

How does Kylie go from 0.943 to 0.95 and still go red?

Because it's all relative to the #1. River is also in red, but has fallen a little faster.

Kylie not being included in ‘Today’s Hits’ on the front of iTunes despite being #2 is a bit of an unfortunate mess and has probably cost her iTunes #1.
I am still happy with her being number 2. I think she will probs by drop well out of top 10 tomorrow if no promo, video

Biggest new stars in recent 6 months are female: SZA, Cardi B and Camila Cabello. Two of them are going to make their Grammy debut next week.

Sigrid won BBC Sound of poll.

Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Rihanna and possibly Beyonce are releasing new albums this year.

Female artists are doing pretty great.
