Females definitely struggle on streaming services. Out of the top 100 most streamed songs, there are only about 7 female only songs and only 3 in the top 50 (Hello, Chandelier and Cheap Thrills)

Well it hasn't helped that Adele, Taylor, Rihanna and Beyonce have all held back releases from streaming/Spotify over the last few years.

That is what I'd say is the 4 biggest female artists in the industry who have taken a while to embrace streaming/Spotify fully for various reasons.

Drake released 2 new singles an hour ago. Amazing!
just opened spotify and the new drake songs are advertised on the front page, is it the same on itunes?
Did someone mention Drake again :drama: I just hope its a short stay at #1, if the track gets there, but I can't see the track holding on for weeks after One Dance. Some performer from the BRITS might just end up there next month, to be honest let Drake get a #1 now, and hopefully Dua Lipa with IDGAF after her performance might just do it, unless Ed Sheeran sticks his oar in.

Passionfruit or anything from his last album didn’t get anywhere near Number 1 so at least there’s still some hope he won’t go to the top! I just previewed the song on iTunes and it bores me to death!

Yeah I really can't see God's Plan going #1, I think a Top 10/20 debut and climbing to a Top 5 peak on a quiet week
yeah I can't really see this Drake single doing as well as 'Passionfruit', think it'll enter top 10 on name power but won't challenge for #1.
I find Drake's music lately a bit of a miss anyway. I like to see Dua Lipa get another #1 to be honest next month, I think she deserves it, Ed Sheeran is just there in your face all the time, got nothing against the bloke, but he just needs to take a break, preferably like a 3 year break. And just let new British talent get there, Mabel and Jorja Smith are probably the ones to watch out for in 2018, not fan of Jorja Smith though, but I like to see new British talent get recognise at least. Ed Sheeran is just there constantly, he needs to bugger off a bit, pardon the expression.
Yeah "IDGAF" is a real grower, just like "New Rules" was. Wouldn't mind that at #1 at some point.
Didn't he re release multiply though so I don't think he'll dissapear until next year at earliest

Another drake on autopilot snoozefest

We need another hotline bling

Not another passionfruit

To be fair the Wembley/other 3-4 releases of Multiply didn’t really have any big singles. Lay It All On Me was big I guess so maybe an Ed Sheeran feature could come later on in the year after the 5th Divide single in Feb.

I like Ed Sheeran even though he is one of the most overplayed artists ever. I feel like he’ll still be mostly present throughout 2018 but after that won’t come back until 2022 with another album full of #1s. Hopefully next time he’ll learn not to double release like he did with Castle & Shape so he can grab an extra #1 :kink:

Love the new Drake, I think it's a smash.
