May 12, 20205 yr Yeh, I don’t see why they couldn’t do Davina, Emma & Rylan unless Emma was actually asked and turned it down. I always felt she stopped loving the show in the final few years. This from the press release gives me little confidence that Channel 5 era will be covered in any detail :lol: Maybe just David’s Dead and some Gemma Collins clips and Rylan v Speidi @1260304136186273792

May 13, 20205 yr Apparently it will be full classic episodes! :o Fight Night definitely going to be rolled out again and, if so, I think we can definitely count out any focus on the Channel 5 era!!
May 13, 20205 yr I wonder if they’ll show the painting episode from BB9 what was iconic until the spit incident happened. C4 was way better for civilian big brother for me but I’d argue c5 had better celebrity versions likely because they used vote to save rather than evict.
May 14, 20205 yr THIS IS SO EXCITING! What's everyone's predictions for the shows being featured? BB5 fight night BB6 Makosi drama (quite a few options here lol what a queen :wub:) BB7 Grace eviction / Susie gets watered BB9 painting drama / fight night 2 I know this might be too much to hope for but it would be amazing if social media goes crazy for these shows and there are calls to bring BB back. :kink: I'm also kind of hoping this is Channel 4's way of testing the waters to see if there is some renewed interest in the show. I mean, not every axed show gets an anniversary special. :lol:
April 15, 20223 yr If a deal is agreed, I just hope that they don’t go for the Love Island/MTV casting. The show thrives on a mixture of personalities, backgrounds etc. Surely that’s also the best way to protect both shows as well? Sounds positive though, and the only real available home other than it returning back to Channel 4. I had hoped for a Channel 4 return but I think that had shattered after the recent news.

April 16, 20223 yr Please leave it off air! I absolutely love (or loved) Big Brother UK but the C5 series never lived up to anything what was on the C4 era did (S14 was the only civilian series what felt classic) but I fear ITV2 would just make it another Love Island type show. Big Brother was just incredible When it was good compelling viewing when they got the casting right but what also made it was it’s controversy too and the world is too PC now to ever get series like we did in “the glory eras of the show” like BB5, 6 and 7. They ended it at the right time but I’m sceptical of another series being a success unless they completely changed the format and made it like the US series. Edited April 16, 20223 yr by Jord
