Seeing what's above them? Nah. No cause for concern yet, imo. If they're still this low or falling once the big promo has kicked in, yeah I'd be concerned.

Here's a breakdown for peeps that haven't seen the midweek info yet,

1975 - last major release of the year

Greatest Showman - Seems to have had a major spike due to being on Sky Box Office/constant XF promotion.

Bublé - this is gonna be popular until after xmas - OAP/housewife fave.

Take That - XF final promo

George Ezra - XF final promo

Buddy Holly - OAP fave/seems to have had a significant boost this week?

Roy Orbison - OAP fave

Andrea Bocelli - OAP fave

Katherine Jenkins - OAP fave/New Release > potential to overtak by end of week*

Queen - Kinda surprised this is holding up tbh. I feel like the movie hype is dying already.*

Bublé Christmas - lol we all know what happens with this.

A Star Is Born - had it's first major price slash at HMV yesterday during pay day weekend of xmas shopping - surprised it's not higher tbh.*

Clean Bandit - New Release*

I feel like the ones I've marked will all be below them by Thursday. Jess Glynne will probs overtake to finish higher, but I'd probably wage a bet on LM staying top 10 and hopefully Strictly promo can push the album back into the top 5 next week.

It's not a major concern, no. I still stand by this album going back up the chart in January and being another successful campaign, but I still think they should be doing better. Both Get Weird and Glory Days were able to compete with older acts and acts who had big promo too and I think LM5 should be doing so too. I agree it's likely that'll they'll rise during the week and of course sales are still going to be strong, but I feel like Little Mix are big enough of a name to be doing better even if they don't have promotion.

The thing I dont get is, where has Buddy Holly's rise come from? Was there a show on BBC4 or something?

In regards to the whole promo thing I'd have been more inclined to agree if WLM was more accessible, like SOTME was. It really doesn't strike me as the album selling type of song, so name alone is only gonna get so far without promo with a track that seems so divisive on opinions. Plus, I don't think it's fair to compare the promo from this to the promo that GD had at this point.

Maybe I'm just optimistic and I'm probs just saying it coz of the promo they have lined up haha, but yeah, I'm not sure there's anything to worry about yet  irregardless of them holding off older generation acts this time 2 yeara ago etc..

I think there was a BBC 4 documentary and I recall someone saying there was a segment on something like BBC Breakfast?

I guess it's just different perspectives and judgments. At least we both agree that Strictly followed by Graham Norton, then the opportunity to take advantage of the January lull will see this album improve its fortunes. Like you say, if they're still outside the Top 10 after that promotion, things will be quite worrying.

It may be an odd thing to say but I think the album cover is potentially harming casual sales. Get Weird/Glory Days had big bright fun covers that catches the attention of parents/older people to buy for their kids for Christmas etc

They're skipping both Top of the Pops specials again.

Has it been confirmed they're not on them?

Edit: Just saw the confirmation in the main forum

Aren't there any chances they weren't invited?

With that line up? There's no way they wouldn't have been.

Maybe they have other commitments for the day of filming?

Their promotion this campaign has been stronger than any other campaign especially with Graham Norton and Strictly, they just need to put their new single on HHUK before Graham Norton.

Of theirs you mean? Because this Q4 Buble’s has been relentless, Take That have done A LOT too.

Buble; Carpool Karaoke, X Factor, Graham Norton, Michael Mcintyre already (Has Jools Holland Christmas special too coming)

Take That: Graham Norton, X Factor Finale and Strictly (Have royal variety coming)

I know Little Mix Have two big ones coming up but so far they’ve only done that terrible slot on XF and Michael Mcintye.

It annoys me they only did Royal Variety once. And now seeing all the promo slots Joe mentioned... do we think they're not invited? Because that's what I don't understand when they're one of the biggest acts the UK has.

#11 in the mids today, there's a bit of a gap between 10 and 11 but they could sneak in by Friday, their streaming is the 4th strongest.

Disappointed to see the album leave the Top 10 this week after 2 weeks.

I am confident it will return.

I would have a preferred a longer run of weeks in the Top 10 un-broken.

Just saw an ad for this on the TV and they showed 'Woman Like Me' and 'Strip' ;o probably just because of the video for the latter but still *.*

Shame to see this out the top 10 already,

I am not worried about it, I think sales will grow during the next 2 weeks for Christmas.

I don't think its going to reach the sales of GW or GD but hopefully it does enough to sell more than Salute.

Wouldn't want this to be their "lowest selling album" I'd like it to past DNA also around 500k hopefully is achievable for LM5.
