Posted February 4, 20187 yr The track is registered on PPL UK site. It's called "Nuh Ready Nuh Ready" and it features PARTYNEXTDOOR.
February 4, 20187 yr not a fan of that song title and I'm not overly keen on PARTYNEXTDOOR either. still hyped to hear this though.
February 4, 20187 yr That title... Probably the weirdest song title since Disco Tits. Anyway, am I the only one whi thinks he's going for the hip-hop sound? The title screams that sort of genre to me. Edited February 4, 20187 yr by TMD_24Quavo
February 4, 20187 yr Are we sure this isn't the start of Funk Wav 2 anyway? Cause judging by the featured artist it's not going to be a club banger. I just hope it's not trap or future bass.
February 4, 20187 yr He says he's moved on from Funk Wav sound so I'm sure it'll sound different. Edited February 4, 20187 yr by TMD_24Quavo
February 4, 20187 yr Wish he’d go back to gettingnames like Ellie etc... pop/dance i wish this too but unfortunately people like PND and Migos/Future etc are bigger and more popular at the moment so i guess he's always gonna go for what's 'in' :( (i'd love a Frank or Tyler or Weeknd collab tho, mind u)
February 4, 20187 yr This sounds very exciting! I thought he was veering away from the sound of his last era, so this is a pleasant surprise. I reckon it'll be 'Afrobbean' sounding considering its success in the UK at the moment and previous PARTYNEXTDOOR songs like 'Run Up' and 'Not Nice'. And to those who want 'names'... he worked with so many last era: Frank Ocean, Migos, Katy Perry, Pharrell, Nicki Minaj to name but a few.
February 4, 20187 yr Part of me wants to be optimistic but another part of me wants to be a hater I just can’t decide which
February 4, 20187 yr Ermm that title lmao  kinda hoping he doesn't go urban but it is Calvin so I'm sure it'll be amazing
February 4, 20187 yr I just hope it's not trap or future bass. EDM trap done well (ie dancey enough and not too poppy) would be OK though imo! Can't see it though, EDM trap has kind of had its day. I reckon it'll be 'Afrobbean' sounding considering its success in the UK at the moment and previous PARTYNEXTDOOR songs like 'Run Up' and 'Not Nice'. Most probably will be, I do actually like Run Up now despite not liking it much at the time. Edited February 4, 20187 yr by The Snake
