 ! I'm looking forward to hearing more bangers from him, "There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back" and "Treat You Better" are both excellent so more like that and less songs like "Mercy" please x

Sacreligious comment!

Stitches remains his best for me, I hope we get a few more uptempos on this album (as good as he is at ballads)
Wow where was that photo taken? :o  Excited to hear more music from him, I liked his older stuff and Something Big was on my playlist for a while when it was released so I have high hopes this time again!
The singles from his last album were incredible. The album, not so much. A bit too dreary considering the singles were actual bangers. In fact, most of his singles have been fantastic. 'Stitches' is my least fave, but only in a 7 out of 10 coz everything else is a 9 sort of way.

There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back is my favourite by him so far, so I'm definitely hoping for more songs of that ilk (uptempos in general - bring us some bops!)

I really ought to invest more in him. I always kinda liked his body music but never bothered beyond the singles.

He's only 19 though? Jesus, usually I don't go for guys under 30.

The album won't be the only thing coming soon xxx

There's Nothing Holding Me Back is probably his best to date (although that and Stitches are both total 11s) so if there's more of that I'm on board! Neither of his albums as a whole were that great but singles wise he hasn't put a foot wrong.

Not really thinking about the MUSIC when I see that picture tbh *.*

(TYB, Stitches & TNHMB all bop so hard so I'm very excited for him to add to his holy trinity)

The other song will be released the next day.
FYI, it's called "Lost In Japan". "In My Blood" is the one that it's going to be properly pushed.

'Lost In Japan' is coming tonight at midnight again. So about 4am here in the UK! Exciting!

'Lost In Japan' is out there.

I feel like this is the Justin Timberlake inspired one that he mentioned some time ago when asked what direction his album was going in.

Quite groovy and funky. It's good in an album filler sort of way. Not one I'll go back to I don't think, but it's v different for him!

I'm kinda happy that I'm not into this as much as IMB tbh. Coz I hate it when an artist releases two strong songs and the one that's not meant to be the single pulls ahead and ends up being the bigger hit (poor, brave Castle On The Hill) 🙃

"Lost In Japan" was alright on first listen; "In My Blood" is growing with every listen. He sounds so incredibly mature on it; love how raspy his voice gets.
Yeah In My Blood is much better, this is solid enough but I don't think I'll be going back to it that much compared to In My Blood or There's Nothing Holding Me Back.
Lost In Japan is great, but it honestly sounds like he just re-recorded a Timberlake demo. It's even got 2001 Michael Jackson vibes. Still, have yet to hear a bad song from this young man (I Know What You Did Last Summer has become a lot more bareable to me now I actually like Camila's voice) but have to agree that In My Blood is miles better, and a song I can see connecting with a wider audience so hopefully it should have some staying power over the next few weeks.
Actually preferring Lost In Japan right now, I love the funky groove to it and sort of fills the Pre-2018 Justin Timberlake hole I have :P In My Blood is nice and will probably grow on me as I hear it more

On first listen, I immediately prefer "Lost In Japan". I agree with the Justin comparisons, it's very '20/20' era. Neither are what I would have expected him to come back with though but I'm enjoying them both!
I like Lost In Japan but I was so blown away by In My Blood that is dulls the effect of the new song tbh.
