I love her but no, we can't be having Rose back right now, too many questions as said and I want to see what the new writer can bring that's fresh (or anything just to eradicate Dinosaurs on a Spaceship from memory).
Rose is done. Her series 4 comeback was hyped no end and she basically did bugger all. I much preferred Donna tbh.

Confirmed to be returning in October too! :D

I love the logo, different to what we've had so far but fittingly so considering we're in an entirely new era of Who.

I actually really like that new logo and the image is really great! The Moffatt era one is my fave of the three since 2005 but this is probably better than RTD :kink:

I'm less keen on this though:

as I don't like it being referred to as 'Who', and it makes it look like like some random historical drama

-x-

As an aside, Murray Gold, the composer since 2005 has revealed he will not be working on the new series :o

I think that logo is great but yeah I dont like the solo 'Who' version makes it seem not like the show. Even if they put Doctor who in the corner of the circle logo or something.
LOVE the logo! My favourite of the revived series :o A bit frustrating that we have to wait so long for the series to come out but if it makes it better than Moffat's last few, it'll be for the best.
Reminds me of the Merlin logo tbh. I don’t mind it but I’m a bit sceptical at how far they’re going with all the new changes. I feel like this could very easily turn into a brand new show, Feeling like a reboot of Doctor Who but in an alternate world where genders are reversed or something. I love the idea of a female Doctor, completely revamped logo, new companions, new writers, etc etc etc - but ALL of these new features are coming at the exact same time and I’m a bit worried the show is going to lose its charm and nostalgia.

Reboots is exactly what the show is about, heck each WEEK the show reboots itself with an entire new world/time. The only major differences (that we know) between the changes being made now and the changes made between Series 4/5 is the drop in episode number and the change in composer. In Series 5, we got a new Doctor, companion, TARDIS (inside and out), logo, executive producers etc

If the show didn’t reboot itself, there’s no way it would be reaching its 37th series!

Yeah the entire show is built on change, if we didn't have change so rooted within the show's DNA it would have finished back in 1966 when William Hartnell left! :P
Agree with all that Klaus said, it's fundamental to Doctor Who that it regularly refreshes and changes. The show definitely needed a big reboot as well at this stage!

Some v tiny bits of info have come in:

Sharon D Clarke has confirmed her role as the wife of Bradley Walsh’s character and they are both human.

Lee Mack has got a tiny role in the upcoming series

Guess that kind of confirma Bradley is a full tome companion after Sharon was only announced as a recurring character :/

There's rumours a trailer will appear during England's first World Cup match tomorrow, I hope so!

Yeah apparently it's confirmed for after the match just before EastEnders starts at 9:25pm
