The singles have been really good so far, I prefer this era to their debut
i do like the 2 singles from the new album, but they're no classics, all the singles from album 1 were better

What?!

Their debut songs sounded basic and and were massively overplayed which just added to them sounding even more annoying, their sound this time round is edgier and I prefer it.

Not been able to grow into this but the video has made me love it. Also why is this in indie, rock and alternative none of their music has been that

If You’re Over Me is the most basic thing they’ve ever put out though...

Its a max martin track, that says it all

Dont mind sanctify and over me

To me both are a 6/10

But its a step down from the album 1 singles,

All 4 were miles better

It’s a Steve Mac song?

Yes sorry steve mac not max martin

If only

Palo Santo is very good on first listen. I like how more or less anything Olly Alexander sings is believable.

Not sure it’d work as a single, but a great album track with a lot of depth.

Singles:

Shine > If You’re Over Me > Sanctify > Eyes Shut > Desire > King.

If we’re counting ‘Take Shelter’ it would be between Shine and If You’re Over Me.

The title track is really good and it's much better than "If You're Over Me" in my opinion. I still can't get into the latter and it's definitely my least favourite single (and overall song) from them so far.
