Posted February 27, 20187 yr First mixtape from ALMA called Heavy Rules, which includes collaborations with MØ, Tove Styrke and kiiara. "Dance for Me", her track featuring MØ, premiered as the Hottest Record on Annie Mac's BBC Radio 1 show tonight.
February 28, 20187 yr Brb throwing this in the trash can, where it belongs. :puke: Srs tho, I hope she stays as a one sorta-hit wonder.
March 2, 20187 yr Listening to it now - the ones without features just sound like album tracks she recorded that were rejected. May as well have just been a three track EP but even those aren't up to the Chasing Highs standard, I really don't think she'll ever have another hit.
March 2, 20187 yr All Stars >>>>>> Chasing Highs Yes! 'All Stars' is pretty much the only thing I can abide by her, she's pretty damn woeful.
March 2, 20187 yr I'll never understand how ALMA provokes such an extreme reaction on here. Her singles + collabs have all been straight-up bangers to me; only 'Phases' wasn't up to par, but I'd consider it inoffensive at worst. I'm excited to give this a listen later on!
March 2, 20187 yr Her voice most definitely is not "inoffensive" :kink: Her voice actually makes me feel sick lmao. :(
March 4, 20187 yr HOW was Chasing Highs a hit?! Irritating voice definitely Due to sounding like the lowest common denominator gutter trash which is aimed at the Spotify audience.
March 4, 20187 yr Her voice most definitely is not "inoffensive" :kink: Her voice actually makes me feel sick lmao. :( Same, I can't think of a recent pop voice that goes through me quite so much. She sounds like Sia's dying breaths. I can't get over how her voice is so weak and nothingy yet so piercingly awful, obviously each to their own and all that but I cannot fathom why anyone would willingly want to listen to it
