"Boring" is up to you and your opinion, but even if I hated this, I don't know if I'd call it trash! :o

They started playing this on the radio, I turned it off after a few seconds, boring trash!

SO you didn't get tot he chorus then, which is the best bit.

The chart show had finished and I prefer listening to my own music

I don't like most of his music and from the beginning, this didn't seem any different

You're welcome to dislike it but I don't think you can judge any song from the opening seconds only. You never know how the song might progress and it could well surprise you!
You can't base an opinion on a song from a few seconds of the begining.

The song actually builds throughout so the beginning is a little slow. I'd say give it at least to the chorus before writing something completely off and labeling it as 'trash'

I really like this, it's kind of like what Harry Styles was trying to do with his solo album except executed far better.
Honestly what the point of posting and slagging it off if you haven't even listened? I cannot stand this need to post for the sake of it. It takes 3 minutes to actually listen to the song and be able to post something of substance instead of looking stupid by saying you didn't like the intro so turned it off...
I really like 'In My Blood' - kind of reminds me of 'Praying' slightly, or is that just me?!

This! It’s grown on me over the weekend, the beginning reminds me Dean Lewis but when it starts to kick off it’s very Harry Styles but in my opinion doesn’t really lose momentum as the song goes on (whereas SOTT for example I felt the original version was too long for casual listening).

I heard it in full and I like it a bit more now.

Listening carefully to the lyrics, do we know what the song is precisely about?

At first I thought it was about a boy being gay who couldn't express it, but it could just be a song about insecurities/depression as well.

It's about his experience with anxiety and how he managed to get through it.

I think this might actually be my fave song of the year to date.

I find it OK. He is quite hit and miss for me with 'Mercy' and 'There's Nothing Holding Me Back' being amazing - but I find this almost tries too hard and as a result could be so much better. The chorus is the best bit though.

With 'Lost In Japan' I think the verses are very strong but the chorus is weak.

Maybe they'll both grow a bit as I generally like his voice.

Wow. So, so good.

Edit: he will be on James Corden's show every night from 4th June for a week. It also includes CARPOOL KARAOKE!!!
