  • They can now set their safety net at any after the £1,000 question.

Enjoyed it last week and will watch when it returns. Better that it's on for occasional weeks than every week.
81% for a wrong answer, that.might be a record.

It equals the record - managed to hunt down this clip from an older series.

Glad the show is back but not a fan of Clarkston. He’s very cold and borderline rude.

He is rather rude and abrupt with some contestants.

I remember that and was yelling at the TV as I knew the answer even before te 4 alternatives came up as the Chancellor sometimes has a wee tipple during his speech. Was surprised the audience got that wrong.

Back tonight at 9 for five shows and someone this week gets as far as the million pound question. No leaks at to whether they win it or not.

It's slightly better than the original series when they would announce when an episode had a £1 million winner!

I actually knew the answer to the million quid question as British PM's is my specialist subject so I knew Churchill was never Foreign Secretary. It would have been far too easy for so much money if they'd have asked about more recent Prime Ministers as he said he hoped they'd be. For example John Major was FS and Chancellor but only for short periods. Anyway he did well to get 500k. I think we'd have heard if he'd got the million.

Yes, I knew the million pound question too, However it wasn't really the sort of question where you could make an educated guess if you didn't know.

No it wasn't. He would have gone for Eden. He's said today that he had a vague inkling that he's never read anything about Churchill being FS but only an inkling and still would have guessed Eden. They're saying on DS that it was an easy last question but it's only easy if you know the answer and he didn't and I bet millions of viewers didn't. Was surprised that he'd to ask the audience which fruit was in black forest gateau. Mind you my wife said raspberries when it first came up! She knew it was a red one lol as could picture them.

54% thinking 2 Become 1 was the second UK #1 single for Spice Girls for the £64,000 question.

Omg this guy is so up himself and then gets unstuck on Spice Girls, please let him lose here

Its D :banghead:

I knew it when the question was given out. Talk about losing 4 lives on one question :banghead:

I knew all the answers in that round
