I think you mean “mutually decided not to work together anymore”.

New single to be released on Ministry of Sound next month. But don’t worry it’s stil part of the Sony Family 😂.

Will she be the first X Factor Winner to never release an album.

Why am I not surprised?

Syco were basically setting her up for failure with this song, no way was it ever going to be a hit.

If she's on MoS then that's still good for her though, they may actually give her a decent song too. Not that it'll chart well (or at all) but still.

YES flopped due to lack of support.

If they got her a decent New Music Friday placing, and managed to get a insta add on Hot Hits and Radio 1, then it would’ve been a bit.

No major shock but they should have released the album as from the songs released alone they nearly had an albums worth.
YES was abysmal and anyone that wasn’t in the gay community knew that hence its lack of impact. Shes had SO MUCH promo & money invested into her. Shes just not a star. Maybe the featured vocalist route will work n

^ nah she’s just on their comp. their comps release music from lots of labels.

YES just wasn’t great, especially for the GP. I know we gays love a big uptempo number but it was too dated for the charts. It did well enough with support that if the GP were interested it would have picked up. Hot Hits, big Capital and Kiss support...Did nothing.

Part of the problem is that Tears, So Good, Best Behaviour and YES all have nothing slightly in common

Tears is very dancey

So Good is ballad-slow like pop

Best Behaviour is a trashy bop

YES is dated

Louisa confirms that she has been dropped by Syco

She just needs to concentrate on being a guest vocalist now on dance tracks rather than trying to be the next Pixie Lott.

Ultimately I think she won it too young.

It's hard to get invested in the career of someone who's not even a legal adult. Especially when she wants to make 'mature' music.

Interesting for MOS to sign her, they don't usually opt for non-dance acts other than London Grammar so will be intrigued to hear what they'll do with her.
They should give her a feature on a hot new dance song, that's probably the only way she'll be able to get back in the chart.
I adore YES but it would’ve flopped a decade ago, let alone in 2018. Hetty’s have no taste :( :kink:
