Posted March 10, 20187 yr I’m going to go for FRIENDS but I think Shawn Mendes could easily do it as well.
March 10, 20187 yr Louisa is COMING. Drake's reign is shook. Bryan Adams record is shook. Everyone and everything is shook.
March 10, 20187 yr Something not listed on the poll. In fact i'd say most of the options have now peaked (barring Mr Mendes off course :D)
March 10, 20187 yr ~ArianaShe better hurry up! I NEED new Ariana in my life :'( If it's by the ebd of March, Beg of April, I agree. She'll be the next #1, otherwise, I think Shawn is the most likely contender. (But she deserves to take her time so I'm not mad)
March 10, 20187 yr Author Something not listed on the poll. In fact i'd say most of the options have now peaked (barring Mr Mendes off course :D) Yeah, but at least something will have to go #1 by default once Drake goes to ACR! FRIENDS a little more steam than the rest (except Shawn).
March 10, 20187 yr Yeah, but at least something will have to go #1 by default once Drake goes to ACR! FRIENDS a little more steam than the rest (except Shawn). That's assuming that Drake doesn't go 59p and increases his sales to avoid ACR for longer than thought. Again I still think that whatever topples him isn't listed in the poll :) Edited March 10, 20187 yr by ElectroBoy
March 10, 20187 yr None of them, most of them have peaked, probably the new Shawn Mendes if the track is any good, I'm just hoping for a new Jess Glynne track to drop soon featuring Sam Smith :o ha, just kidding.
March 10, 20187 yr Yeah I agree with the majority if these days can't do it and the rest have peaked it will be something else
March 10, 20187 yr I think possibly Friends, but These Days also has a chance if it holds on for a few more weeks and ACR kicks in.
March 10, 20187 yr any news on clean bandit coming back soon?? sure it's a clean bandit ft sam smith or cb ft jess glynne
March 10, 20187 yr I'm here for These Days to do it after 7 weeks at #2, purely for that but also for The British Queen of the UK Singles Chart Jess Glynne to score the most #1s, beating the no-hopers Rita Who? and Cheryl What's Her Surname this week?
March 10, 20187 yr I think with Shawn Mendes having missed the top 3 (IIRC) let alone number 1 with "There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back" and "Treat You Better" it's hard to assume he's a likely number 1 challenger automatically. I hope he does have a big number 1 hit again though, so long as the quality is there. Loved "Stitches".
March 10, 20187 yr Author There’s Nothing Holding Me Back wasn’t a lead single.... he’s much bigger now.
March 10, 20187 yr There’s Nothing Holding Me Back wasn’t a lead single.... he’s much bigger now. ...except it effectively was because it hadn't been available prior to its release, thus acting like a lead single. "Treat You Better" was just the same?
March 10, 20187 yr Author There’s Nothing Holding Me Back was not a lead single There will be more buzz for this single He could challenge for #1
March 10, 20187 yr There’s Nothing Holding Me Back was not a lead single There will be more buzz for this single He could challenge for #1 It was as good as a lead single in terms of its availability. It was a brand new single promoted as lead of the repackaged album and was previously unavailable to fans and consumers.
March 10, 20187 yr I think whether Shawn Mendes makes it to #1 or not depends on the song. He's not big enough to debut there, but it could climb if it's got the selling power of 'Stitches'. Impossible to predict it without hearing it.
