At #58 is the second single to be released from Girls Aloud's second studio album ''What Will The Neighbours Say?'', 'Love Machine'! It peaked at #02 and became one Girls Aloud's signature hits. Unfortunately for them it was released in a time when sales were low so it doesn't maybe feel as much of a hit as it was. I like it, but with many of Girls Aloud's bigger well known hits, it isn't one of their best. I did think this would place higher though!

At #57 is where it all started for the Sugababes with their debut single 'Overload'. Crazy to think this was released as early as 2000, I always think of their career starting the same sort of time Girls Aloud's did! It was a Top 10 hit for the girls and a relative hit for them, really making their mark with their individual sound at the time. It was their only Top 10 hit with Siobhan in the band, but remains to be a fan favourite even if it does sound ever so slightly out of place amongst Suga's biggest hits. I still love this, it is such a subtle yet interesting pop song and doesn't sound as old as almost 18 (!!) years old.

Love Machine is their best song, why is it always so underrated in these polls? :(

I'm not a huge Destiny's Child fan, but Independent Woman is an absolute classic and deserves much higher than that (not as good as

though)

At #56 is another 2000 girlgroup single, this time from All Saints. 'Black Coffee' was released as the second single from their second studio album 'Saints & Sinners' and followed one of their most successful singles 'Pure Shores'. It was their fifth and final #01 following 'Never Ever', 'Bootie Call', 'Under The Bridge' and 'Pure Shores'. I wouldn't say it's quite as well known as Never Ever or Pure Shores which are undeniable classics but I still have fond memories of it and it's such a slick and quite mature pop song from the girls.

At #55 is a truly iconic girlgroup single, the debut 'C'est La Vie' from B*Witched. It was a instant success becoming a huge million selling #01 in the UK as well as a Top 10 hit in the US. It is very cheesy pop but in such a fun 90's way, I still hear it on cheesy pop nights out and the irish gig gets everyone going :'). The lines such as ''Some people say ya look like me dad!'' still make me crease and it is such a fun pop song, with a great melody and plenty of personality. It was also the first of four consecutive #01's for the girls, what kind of icons. Also, I am screaming at that YouTube screengab, poor Adele.

At #54 is 'I Hate This Part' by Pussycat Dolls - the second single to be released off of their second studio album 'Doll Domination'. It's not quite in iconic girlgroup songs territory but always seems to be a huge fan favourite when it comes to Pussycat Dolls' back catalogue and rightly so, it's one of their best! The chorus and the whole song is just stunning and really quite mature sounding for the girls. It deserved to be much bigger but unfortunately is one of their lesser known hits now :(

At #53, it's a double whammy for the Pussycat Dolls! This time with soundtrack single 'Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny)' which was released from the Slumdog Millionaire OST. It was a huge hit for the girls and really helped bring back the huge hits they were beginning to lack from their second studio album. I love the song, however it doesn't really feel like a girlgroup song as it is basically just a Nicole song instead - they even have her as a seperate feature!!

At #52 is the next single from the Sugababes to drop out, this time 'Stronger' which was released as an AAside alongside 'Angels With Dirty Faces' as the third single from their second studio album 'Angels With Dirty Faces' following #01 hits 'Freak Like Me' and 'Round Round'. It was released at a competitive time of the year so didn't quite live up to previous hits but is very fondly remembered amongst fans of the girls. I am personally so pleased to see this high up! One of my favourites from the girls and also provided the iconic Heidi Range vocals in singing 'ME-EEE-EEE-EEE-EEE-EEE-EEE-EEE' performance of this :').

At #51 is the highest and final single from the Pussycat Dolls to appear, 'Buttons' - the fourth single to be taken off of their debut album 'PCD' and their fourth consecutive Top 3 hit following 'Don't Cha', 'Stickwitu' and 'Beep' which is not to be sniffed at, especially as many thought that 'Don't Cha' would be a one hit wonder for the girls. I am upset to see that PCD don't get the recognition they deserve, they were probably bigger than The Saturdays really and are one of my fave girlgroups. I'm surprised to see this being the highest for them, I thought it would have been 'I Hate This Part', 'Jai Ho' or 'Don't Cha'. This song is a favourite though, such slick production and their melodies work well together and it's just such a fun song. BuzzJack are not worthy.

Poor PCD! All those bangers and NONE make the top 50??? Especially over some of what is left to come :( I didn't realise they were that under appreciated on here tbh.

Having said that, 'Buttons' has never fully hit me and I don't know why. 'Stronger' & 'Overload' are both ok. A bit boring, but ok. 'Jai Ho' is fun, but not a fave either tbh :o 'I Hate This Part' is a fave though. SO GOOD. 'C'est La Vie' is a classic! A definitive 90's anthem. 'Black Coffee' is bland af and 'Love Machine' seems to have aged horribly for me. Instead of being enjoyable I find it grating and annoying now tbh, glad it isn't top 50 like I feared it to be.

'Don't Cha' is fantastic. So slick and ridiculously catchy. 'Dumb' had one of the catchiest hooks of the noughties tbh. I was so pleased to see it become a big hit for them. It felt like a much bigger hit than it was, it seems. I remember hearing it and seeing the video everywhere!

It's very interesting to see what the highest track for each act is! and if it's something unexpected.

(Also, sorry not sorry to knock out Love Machine...I've never liked it!)

Some incredible songs have left in the last batch :(

'black coffee', 'goodbye', 'stronger', 'overload' and 'buttons' all would probably make my own top 25. :( PCD are so underrated on this site, they have some absolute BOPS. I'm glad 'buttons' is their highest placing though.

'wake me up' is also one of girls aloud's best too; the instrumental is one of my favs.

glad to see 'bootylicious' leave earlier than i thought it would and 'love machine'.

C'est la Vie and Black Coffee are classics *.* Pussycat Dolls not so much, I'll give them Don't Cha but they were pretty awful asides from that.
As if "Love Machine" is lower than top 50  That and "I Hate This Part" deserve much better.

Cest Le Vie

Stronger

Overload

Black Coffee

Are should easily be top 50

Can you post what tracks are left ?
