They did not struggle for success because Camila left. Nobody except a handful of gays even knew who she was or cared about her.

 

The reason they struggled is because 'Worth It' and 'Work from Home' were just flash in the pan hits, and not the kind of hits that build a strong following but the kind of middle of the road songs that people hear on the radio and just enjoy. They were lucky and were not meant to last. That's all there is to it.

If they came back as a 5 piece at some point that would be awesome, give them all a few years to become huge in their own right and it would be SUCH a mega-group.
