Probably won’t be in the Top 200.

No sadly not and three of his other tracks will be definitely streamed more so won't even be eligible for a top 200 chart position lol

^ Top 200 as in the Spotify chart to see how it fared on day 1 in the UK, not the UK singles charts. There is no official Top 200 singles chart any more, it’s just a Top 100.

 

What You Waiting For could end up being one of his Top 3 this week, given that all of his older singles are on ACR i.e. their streams are halved. What You Waiting For has the edge when it comes to pure sales (over the other album tracks) but might not generate the required streaming to make it in the chart (Sigala might not even manage to get 3 songs into the Top 100 even if WYWF managed to be one of his Top 3).

 

Just Got Paid will undoubtedly be his highest song. Second and third spots... probably a fight between What You Waiting For, Somebody and Lullaby.

Hate that the sales and streams being generated at the moment are meaningless in terms of any potential chart activity!

They’re not necessarily meaningless, we really need to wait for the midweeks to see if it has a chance... it’s too early to write it off.

I’m actually surprised that WYWF hasn’t gone higher on iTunes - there seemed to be such a huge build up to it that I thought it would peak higher before falling away, that being said the fact it’s been stable yesterday and today is an equally good result.

 

Also Sigala replied to Kylie’s video of the song saying ‘Official video sorted’ so that is a little extra confirmation they are planning it as a proper release and I’m sure the fact that it’s done well so far will help th realise there is a demand.

I got the feeling Sigala was purely saying that to Kylie as banter, rather than hinting there will be an official video.

Somebody was on the NMF playlist which is why it is leaps and bounds ahead of everything else. The Kylie track being ahead of the album's opening song shows that plenty of people have specifically chosen to listen to it.

^^ The impact of a playlist! That track has picked up easily 400,000+ additional listens than it would have.

Hopefully it can make the top 100 this week.

I really think deep down, this is the kind of track I've always been craving from her. I love it so much.

 

It really has that Ibiza feel to it.

It still sucks, but I’m hoping it’ll go Top 40 for her eventually.

I have been singing this all day! Infectious!

Have been hammering this (On streaming of course to get those sales in!) and I’ve gone from meh to totally loving it!.

 

I think there was such hype/build up to the song that I was expecting a euphric dance smash now I’ve got over that disappointment I really like it - I think it has huge crossover potential to the general public too :music:

It's great. And Kylie in her Twitter clip brings it to life even more.
