I'm not as bothered about it being released as I was when we were all waiting for the track to drop, but I would still welcome it being a single all the same. It just feels like an end of summer sort of song rather than a winter song.

I think it is a cracking track and with remixes and even a simple video will do well.

 

Sigala is proud of it and Kylie seems to be too.

 

It could be the perfect way to lose some of the 'country' comments that are now starting to bore me and probably others....

 

she doesnt want to get to Glastonbury and just be simply still talking about country. She has A LOT more to offer

Xmas songs out of chart, not many new tunes being released , this would be perfect time for Sigala and Kylie to get another hit

Yep agree with the above - there was so much expectation for WYWF and tbh it was an anti climax so I won’t be too sad to see it remain an album only track and like others have said I can’t see it setting the charts alight even if it did get released.

It's certainly not an anti-climax for me, I adore this track.

 

Maybe it wouldn't be a hit, but who knows? I'd like to see her at least be given the chance of scoring another one.

It was about as forgettable as "Higher" with Taio Cruz.

Surprises me how well it still does on streaming too! Seems largely forgotten by the Kylie fans but the GP still seem to love it and it returned Kylie to the Top 10 and went silver :wub:

Higher, it is disappointing it is among one of her best sellers as its forgettable, but, nonetheless it provided Kylie with another Top 10 hit.

I wouldn't have seen the harm in releasing What You Waiting For, it would have kept Kylie's name out there.

I really like Higher and colabs are good for Kylie.

Collaborations are good as they bridge gaps in releases.

It would be wonderful if Kylie could get on a big collaboration with someone such as Calvin Harris and have a big hit.

Tbh I think it's for the best that there'll be a gap of a few months between Golden and the Greatest Hits - I don't think there was much need for a collaboration to "keep her name out there". Better to launch the next project after having given fans/the public a bit of a breather after a very packed 2018.
