Agreed, I don't think it was necessary as such to bridge the gap when it's only a few months and this summer is going to be jam-packed anyway.

 

In the end I was kinda unphased either way in regards to this getting released. If it had been, then great, but the feel of the song has a late-summer vibe and I don't think would suit this time of year. I really like the song but I don't think it was a missed opportunity as such and I do think the hype pre-release was much greater than the result.

It is an average but enjoyable song.

In the future, can anyone see Kylie doing a duets/collaboration album?

I really like Higher and colabs are good for Kylie.

i think that ship has long sailed. That Sigala album was basically a greatest hits with 2-3 album tracks aside

 

Kylie fans were fed so much in 2018, it would make sense for her to take a break from promotions for a little while and then come back 4-5 months from now with a new single. It’s only gonna be a greatest hits anyway with maybe a couple new songs so it’s nothing too extraneous. She’s doing fine.

This is an absolute solid gold banger.

This along with a few others could be added as a bonus CD to her greatest hits.

Definitely could have done something if they had released it now and not put it on the album in the winter - a solid remix EP, summer vibes video etc., and this could have been a decent mid sized hit.

Just been certified Silver this week! I’m sure some Kylie fans helped it along - I bought the signed CD and coloured vinyl for my Kylie collection and also heavily streamed WYWF.

I streamed the album but didnt buy it, the album has done well here in Ireland too.

I think streams with all the hit singles weighing it have been more of a contributing factor than people actually buying the album.

That is most likely, i didnt expect the album to have the longevity it has had to date.

Seriously it’s not going to happen :lol: Sigala is releasing new material now and if Kylie was planning on doing anything with it then I think she would have tacked it onto the GH along with NYC. It’s been available for 8 months now and even if they wanted to properly release it (which I’m sure neither do) it’s far too late for it to do anything tbh.
