Ya im liking that Dannii seems to be really invested in this release which helps, downloads will all help, i think she might have a chance of staying Top 30 but i would be very surprised if she misses the Top 40.

Its all very positive for the upcoming Girl release.

 

In my dreams she gets an album of ten songs together ready for next years Season 2 of I Kissed A Boy!

I literally cannot wait for the UK reissue of ‘Girl’ - I bought the Aussie vinyl but we need that UK version.

 

Slightly disappointed that Cherry Red are the ones handling it, they are an incredible label and the release will be great but visibility of it will be low and it SO deserves to beat its original criminal #57 peak which I’m not sure it will :drama:

If Danii gets behind the Girl release like she has with the current Neon Nights re release Girl has a great chance of a new and deserved higher peak.

Don't forget to keep streaming Neon Nights everyone.

 

If something like this happened for GIRL, it could easily get a new chart peak it deserves (top40).

That cassette looks like it was stupidly limited then to maybe 300 or 500 considering how quick it sold out and it’s UK sales.

Yeah, it seems like it'll just end up outside the top 40 at this point but at least it'll be a better peak than the #86 for the 15th anniversary re-release.

 

Plus, at least this'll keep it stocked so at the very least it'll help trickle sales (minimal as they may be).
