Of all places for a sign in, uk deserves it the most. Australia sucks when it comes to supporting Minogues (and I’m Aussie).

 

I know Dannii is really well known in Australia due to being a child star but her music career always seemed to struggle there and the UK was her biggest market.

 

I guess it’s easier for her to do signings in Australia though as she’s based there, I’m hoping she might do something when QVC next bring her over.

Are sales low enough in Australia that she could get a new peak with Neon Nights (higher than #25) if enough people go for these formats?

 

(or is it just a general consensus of no1curr outside of a small handful of people?)

I forgot about that awful 25# placing here in Australia! And I purchased heaps of copies at that time ha ha. Well I hope it can at least get a top 15 (ideally top 10). Now that would Justice!

^^ I’m sure the ‘Girl’ vinyl issue missed the main ARIA charts but done really well (Top 5?) on the Australian Acts ARIA charts.

 

With the amount of formats for NN and the fact ‘Girl’ done well with only a vinyl reissue shows there is a decent level of interest so wouldn't be overly shocked if it did.

I assume it'll be a much easier feat than trying to achieve a new peak in the UK - although I'll just be satisfied if it can grab an extra top 40 week here.

NN only reached 25 in AUS !!

 

 

I assumed Neon Nights hit Gold in Australia, but it actually didn’t. It’s only 35,000 units to reach it. Does anyone know the sales figure for it ? Now a gold disc in Australia would be great too.

I don't think that sales information is available, but yeah it would be great if a Gold certification could appear alongside a new peak for the album!
