Pleased that it’s 34 on sales only .

Neon Nights is an amazing album , I actually think it is better than any Kylie album.

Anyone know total sales for NN now ?

Although it’s her best album and often stated as her most successful it didn’t outsell love and kisses.

I do believe i read somewhere that Neon Nights has sold close to 100,000 since its release.

Neon Nights - 107,328, including 1,160 this week!

It wasn't within the Top 200 best selling albums of 2003 (how sacrilegious) - the #200 of that year sold 94,000, therefore Dannii sold less than that in 2003. (Note: It was certified Gold in April 2003, but back then this denoted shipments, not sales).

Great sales this week - as I’ve said before I really hope this encourages Dannii to consider other vinyl releases, I’m sure this one has exceeded expectations.

The album did deserve more as Dannii had such a good run of singles from the album and all done very well.

They were by far her best singles in quality and chart performance.

If Dannii was to ever have had a huge selling album i did think Neon Night would have done it.

I understand Love and Kisses is her biggest selling album but do we know how much more its sold than Neon Nights.

Can't find any info regarding the sales of Love & Kisses other than it was #90 on the 1991 Year End Chart.

Put the needle in it should have been huge .

The video and the remixes were epic yet it only managed one week in the top 10!

All versions of Neon Nights were sold out on the Pledge Music page but 15 copies of the CD/signed poster have reappeared for £10.99 if anyone still needs a copy :cheer:

Great little video of Dannii talking about the 'Neon Nights' era:

So interesting to see how much the industry has changed; a lot of the things she talks about here that were once so significant to the album campaign just aren't as important anymore.

In the midweeks thread in the chart vault it is claimed that IBTW was number one during a midweek chart release!!

I do not remember this at all.

For its birthday i am going to pump this tomorrow:)

I've checked another source and Dannii was #2 all week, not sure where the info in the midweek thread pinned in the chart vault is from but I think Gezza is mistaken.

Apparently Dannii did close the gap in the middle of the week but ultimately ended just under 10k adrift of the #1. That measures up with what Dannii says in the video above about it being a tense week and just trailing behind.
