YTD Sales : Please read these guidelines before you request sales estimates, it makes my task a lot easier.

1. Be specific - please name the artist and title for each entry you'd like an estimate for.

2. I log sales for all albums that have charted this year, but only update those that have sold enough to reach my 200 position tracking range

3. If an album isn't in the current Top 100, I won't be able to update its sales until Tues. Also, please don't ask about ex-T100 albums too often - once a month at most)

4. Remember to check the thread before requesting estimates - they may already have been answered. Also, no more than half-a-dozen requests at a time, thanks.

5. Please note my figures are combined sales & streams, and since I have no way of separating them, I cannot provide a split.

6. While I am no longer estimating singles sales, I can provide YTD singles positions from C+, and I am still maintaining my sales archive based on published figures (PM me if you want to see it)

Thank you.

Good start for George. Assuming his sales don’t plummet rapidly, I am guessing he will overtake Sam Smith within 2 weeks.

George should join Camilla as being only the second 2018 release in the top 10 next week.

But we have this conversation every year about how few new albums are high in the YTD list. :P

What does the YTD singles chart look like, now that we’ve got the first quarter out of the way.

What are the all time sales for ABBA Gold and Bob Marley Legend? Are those total sales only from 1994 onward?
Good to see The other side top 50 even if it's not allowed to chart shame it won't be for long
What are the all time sales for ABBA Gold and Bob Marley Legend? Are those total sales only from 1994 onward?

Yes - They are only their UK Sales from W/E 12th February 1994 on-wards. The Week that The OCC 'Officially' took over the compiling

of the UK Charts.

'ABBA Gold' is really on at least 5,400,000 to 5,450,000 UK Sales - from W/E 3rd October 1992 to W/E 5th April 2018.

Another person estimates over 5,600,000 UK Sales for it.

For some reason, The OCC have not been up-dating its UK Sales Total, in recent Years. One of their Staff gave it 'Almost' 5,200,000 Sales

in Mid July 2016. At the same time time, another one of their Staff gave it 'Almost' 5,300,000 UK Sales.

Recently - very recently - they gave it 5,200,000 UK Sales - meaning that they are still giving it their lowest Total, from July 2016. This means

that they added in no UK Sales from Mid July 2016, to the end of 2016. Nor any UK Sales from 2017, (91,000). Nor any UK Sales from 2018

- where it will pass 30,000 this Week - W/E 12th April.

'ABBA Gold' will get another UK 'Sales Boost', when the 'Mamma Mia! 2' Film is released, in July.
