Dalton had the best winners single performance by some way, and best vocals throughout, deserved winner!

 

Its a shame he is collaborating with James Arthur... though :(

I'll eat my hat if he does any better than Matt Terry. Great voice, you can't dispute that, but there is just no personality or dazzling star quality, I'm totally baffled as to how people think he's "outstanding" "sensational" and all that. Completely and utterly overhyped, to a ridiculous level, as I've said. Didn't watch a second of this weekend because it just felt so obvious that he'd walk it :/

Totally agree, Maybe get a top 20 single at push along with a top 10 album before we don't hear from him again.

I never liked the song power of love and this hasn't changed it,vocally he was great. I loved the scarlett and leona duet but I like one more sleep. Delighted Anthony was 3rd.

The Final result:

Dalton Harris - 41.3%

Scarlett Lee - 31.3%

Anthony Russell - 27.4%

 

The Semi Final:

Dalton Harris - 31.4%

Anthony Russell - 23.5%

Scarlett Lee - 22.3%

Acacia and Aaliyah - 14.7%

Screaming at dalton only winning by 41% (was expecting +60%) and Anthony winning half the weeks Christ!

 

Also so many close results this week 😮 Brendan so close to going in week 2 and nearly bottom 3 again in week 3, A&A nearly going straight away in week 4 etc, low-key wish all of that happened 😂

Shan was screwed over and robbed she was 2nd and 3rd most weeks in the vote and the one week she dropped in the vote she was out !

Dalton and Anthony were the only two people to ever win a public vote during the live shows. Looking at the voting statistics it's strange how Anthony didn't make it into the top 2 in the end, he finished 3rd in a two horse race!

Deserving winner though, Dalton consistently the best throughout the entire series.

Yes.... :lol: Sorry but what a ridiculous comment. The males in this particular series were very lacking, but then the only ones I particularly cared about were Shan/Bella/Scarlett and I guess LMA Choir for the two live shows they were in after thinking nothing of them.

 

I don't not like Dalton, the overhype was just ridiculous. Just from recent ones, I like John/Nick, liked Malique in I'm A Celeb at the moment, Charles in Strictly who just went and a couple of others who've gone, a fair chunk of the males from the most recent Big Brother.

I just saw the voting stats for all the live shows.

Anthony getting such high votes every week is a shock, he was in most weeks terrible.

Interesting but pointless fact: Anthony would now be in the overs category if he auditioned.

Could mean absolutely nothing, but a member on TVForum who works in the TV industry and has posted correct rumors before posted this:

 

Hearing from some industry colleagues that the series currently in pre-production has been put on hiatus (and pretty much cancelled), with the production team being made redundant.

and

 

I am not one for sensationalist posts, but I feel like I have a good track record for accurate/useful information.

 

Like I say, all I am hearing going around tele circles (including a few friends who work at Thames). I’m sure something official will come out soon...

 

Hope it's not true, but it's perhaps come to the end of it's time.
