October 13, 20186 yr The boys are by far the worst category, not looking forward to any of these :lol: The girls were better than the boys vocally, he put the wrong band through. I think it was case of take a gamble on either and the boys have the chemistry already.
October 13, 20186 yr I thought the girl group was pretty awful, the boy band showed more potential vocally and sounded pretty decent together (while the girls sounded almost painful when singing in unison)

October 13, 20186 yr Jesus christ if I had the boys I think I'd just take Thomas (and even then he's bordering on novelty and would just have one or two camp performances and go) and then let the others have one of their rejects each come back, possibly the worst category I've seen in AGES in this show :mellow: J-Sol has a really awful nasally tone, the Friends theme tune guy was alright but forces his gravel/edge a bit, the Listen guy I suppose is alright but I hated him singing that, Anthony has no presence at all plus an average voice at best, and I've said enough how much Brendan's voice goes through me so I'm not expecting anything from him :')

October 13, 20186 yr You know something, my favourite has to be Holly from the girls category, to be honest I really don't care who wins, most of the acts are pretty awful. The overs are looking awful as well, I feel this series is a big let down, maybe someone from Simon's category is going to take it. And what can you do with a choir week on week, if there is a dance theme :lol:

Sometimes there's a reason that there's "never been anything like this on the show", it just doesn't work.

I'm hoping the Choir act will be one of the first acts going out, I don't think the public will keep them in. In the end the judges will want someone that could take their material over the pond, e.g, OneD who have had worldwide success, you can't do that to a Choir :lol:

October 14, 20186 yr Jesus Christ Ayda is HOPELESS :rofl: She sent home by far her two best. That might be even worse than the boys. Ola is like a poundland version of that Wiggle Wine guy off BGT. Actually her whole category feels like what the overs were like in like 2007 when they used to be a bit of a pointless joke category with no hope. Terry and Janice are both great vocalists but they don't have much to them in terms of that dazzle or "X Factor". I know the show is well past producing any form of star but still!
October 14, 20186 yr Danny Tetley I think Simon was right 17 years ago, that gravel voice is really irritating. And Louise was probably the best act in this category is Ayda really DEAF
October 16, 20186 yr Just caught up on the weekend's episodes and yeah, Ayda seriously messed up sending both Louise and Ricky home. I can see her potentially losing two or three of her acts in the first few weeks. There's really not anybody spectacular in any of the categories, but the boys and the groups are the strongest, I think.
