I wasn't around much yesterday but I presume the SLFN performances didn't have much of an effect on iTunes?

Really pleased for her, it’s a great album. Should be #1 now for sure.

Fair play to Kylie selling 7k yday as well could be nearer 50k by Friday which would be a very successful return!

I find it at least moderately interesting that the iTunes #1 in Australia and the UK right now are two very different covers of two different Cranberries songs.

Better than expected start for Ruti then, pleased for her as she did have a really interesting voice live. Would be good for the show to actually get someone who has some form of success too, I have no idea why people apply at the moment as the format hasn't yet produced even a solitary success story.

Becky Hill sort of counts as one surely? Though she's yet to actually release an album or have a hit without being with a dance producer.

Yes she does to be fair, I hadn't realised she was from the show actually - I've never really followed it past hearing who won etc

That did happen a few years ago (around series 2) as I'm sure Leah McFall and Andrea Begley and whoever else was in that series charted.

 

Same with Series 3 I think too

Yeah leah Mcfall actually had 3 top 40 hits during the show not sure why they haven't since though
