It's... ok. Can see why they weren't rushing to release it at the time.

Honestly, not the first impression I expected from you.

Still, I'm curious on how the biased EDM Golden Era fans / anti-modern EDM people would react to this.

Nothing's bad with this, but saying it better than any new dance/electronic songs is such a bold statement.

Just watched the I'm Tim documentary which has had its Netflix premiere today. It really is a wonderful insight into his life and him as a person, the music he wanted to make and so on.

A little boost has happened following the release of the documentary

It's a really fascinating watch, especially seeing how some of his biggest hits were made. Although it makes me so sad, as I still miss his presence in music so much. A DJ and producer who really got and understood the importance of melody, more than any other I have known. I found it very interesting how badly the likes of Wake Me Up and Hey Brother were received by the crowd at the Ultra festival when they were first performed, considering how popular and highly regarded they ended up being. I suppose this change in sound was just a shock to the system.

I went to the Avicii Experience tribute museum in Stockholm last year, and it was very hard not to cry walking around, but absolutely worth going to. You can see his home recording setup, read about his life, hear early demos of his biggest hits (and play around with the mixing yourself) and all sorts of other stuff.

The reception at Ultra 2013 was strange in retrospective considering after that, 'Wake Me Up' was released and became huge (and I myself still dig it).

It was probably just the wrong crowd to represent himself.

Even more chart action with climbers and re-entries but some drops too. It's really amazing the impact the documentary is having

"Enough is Enough" isn't enough to all people next to Avicii, I fear? thinking

Milk that cow until it’s bone dry

I miss emotive progressive house/trance-influenced songs like this from 2012-13.

This surely must have been recorded in 2013?

Apparently before Tomorrowland 2011 (judging from the video), but the song was later teased again on his debut album promo mix.
