June 4, 20188 yr What a BRILLIANT single, even better than 'Paradise' which says a lot considering that was great. He's releasing some of, if not the best pop music out there right now. He's completely covered a gap in the mainstream market at the moment. Happy for him - though I think he has already deserved 3 number 1s in "Budapest", "Blame It On Me" and "Paradise" :wub:
June 5, 20188 yr After liking 'Paradise', I really don't like this :( Its too poppy, Ezra has a smug tone which is a bit annoying too and the chorus and some of the lyrics I find a bit cringeworthy tbh.
June 16, 20188 yr Smug tone.... I've heard it all. This is another brilliant single, sounds great in the sun and I'd be so behind it getting to #1! He's definitely cornered a gap in the market I agree, there's not a lot of just breezy pop music like this around and it's so refreshing to hear amongst the same few styles that seem to be big.

June 16, 20188 yr He's not smug at all, you can easily tell that if you listen to his podcasts. 100% recommend everyone to listen to these too. He's got so much personality and is incredibly honest, the complete opposite of smug if you ask me. Maybe people are mistaking smug for having a broad voice

I'd've thought it would've gone 59p this week, but then I guess with the video coming out they don't need it this week - in fact there's no point until ACR is looming and tbh he's got 2 number 1 albums and the concentration is most probably on shifting that overall. So shotgun being a long running hit would be preferable to a flash in the pan number 1.
