Tonight should be good

Megan is quite possibly one of the nastiest pieces of work I've seen on reality TV in a while... I cannot believe she is hyping up Josh and congratulating him and laughing, idk what her problem is with Georgia all the time but she's been an absolute twat to her the entire time. For a girl to be down like that and her to just kick her some more is disgusting - no wonder she has no female friends :mellow: Georgia is an absolute diamond, I kinda wanted her to just f*** it and go with one of the new boys but it just hows how loyal she was and how much she liked Josh that she risked it and held out some hope. She's handled it so well with class and composure, I'd end up losing it and totally blowing my top in her situation :lol:

 

Also beginning to really go off Alex, like I've said I think it's gone to his head a bit that he was this hero/national treasure figure at the start and when girls come in they sort of mention that and he's probably one of the ones they want to see the most. The way he talks sometimes is really offputting, I think he's becoming closer (or acting closer) to the Love Island stereotype and pushing his luck a bit whereas his whole appeal was that he was this sweet out of his depth doctor who was the opposite of what we expect on the show.

Alex was loving being in the situation where he had to choose between two girls and was milking it for all its worth. Just really annoying actually.

Yeah definitely! It just felt like he switched from Charlie to Grace just becasue he could, rather than genuinely being conflicted...

I went off Alex after him going off at Ellie...but he’s become way worse over the last few days.

 

New Alex is just as bad as well... him and Megan suit each other.

 

There has a be a mass dumping by the end of the week as 9 couples plus Georgia and Wes is way too many!!

Gosh Megan is awful, but great TV. The problem now is bar Dani and Jack most of the couples are full of newbies so if there’s a public vote it’s anyone’s game really as half of the couples on there at the moment are completely fake.

Probably an unpopular opinion I really like Georgia and I felt for her BUT I don’t really think Josh has done anything wrong tbh . If they were both in the villa at the same time when it happened then fair enough but Josh was in Casa Amor and didn’t get a chance to let Georgia know how he was feeling so went with his gut . Josh and Kaz seem to really suit and have an connection there as well .

I also don't think he's done much wrong either, him and Kaz seem to have a genuine buzz. Georgia and Josh always seemed like they were together to stay and then gradually grew closer. Bit shit for Georgia, but she's coming out of it really well. She handled the rejection pretty well, much better than Laura with Wes, although I guess more of the fallout will be shown on the next episode.

 

Surely Ellie/Charlie, Alex/Grace, Samira/Frankie are up for the chop soon. And probably Megan/Specs as she's probably the most hated woman in Britain right now.

I said this to my housemates, other than Dani and Jack you just can't bring yourself to give a shit about any of the couples, like I hope Laura and Jack work out but I'm not hugely invested when Jack has just come in and not been shown much, with say Samira and Alex who've swapped they've fizzled out a bit as people and I don't care as much, Ellie/Sam's couples are just yawn and then everyone hates Josh and Megan :lol:

Alex is still one of my favourites oops. Jack, Dani, Georgia, Alex and Samira are my top 5 favourites in no order.

Megan is absolutely vile - there's 'giving zero f***s' and then just being completely nasty. Giving me Helen Wood teas, worse than Olivia Attwood even! Cannot stand the girl. Josh is just as bad and I don't buy this whole bullshit excuse that he's done nothing wrong, to blow it all on a girl you've known for a couple of days is a bit much. I think people forget him saying stuff like 'I would never ever do that to you' when comparing Megan/Wes which was literally just before they went in Casa Emor!

 

I do like how Georgia kept her composure but I want someone to just go apeshit at Josh and Megan. They deserve it. I'm hoping Ellie comes through and calls out the absolute slimeball that is Adam - the girl is ridiculous too 'do you feel proud you've slept in a bed with four different girls each week?', like are YOU proud for going after him?! :lol:

I get that it's a game and when you go in Casa Amor there might be someone who you like more than your current partner but he surely knew Georgia liked him and from the way he was talking it's like he had doubts about her and really should have been upfront with her in that case. I know that they didn't know they were going to Casa Amor and the whole point was to test them like that but there's been people like Ellie who were honest at the risk of their own place in the villa, if he just wasn't feeling it he should have been honest and they could have maybe worked on it or moved on within the villa. It feels like he was using Georgia as a placeholder and then dropped her as soon as someone better came along.

I don't see how Dani has been treated bad. They showed a clip of Jack saying 'Oh my God' that's my ex. Its not like they showed her a picture of them kissing during a task or something.

 

 

Ellie is hideous, there's something really unlikable about her and she's clearly still wanting Jack or why would she go on the show and chase him there? The 2500+ complaints are ridic though, it's needless stirring but it's hardly mental torture... Especially when it hasn't affected them other than little tiff last night and every couple is gonna have that, whether the producers stir or not, at some point. It's not like Dani has totally broken down and gone insane and they've kept on whittling her down, she got a bit pissed off as anyone would and then went for her drinks with Ellie and seems to be fine. People will complain to Ofcom about basically anything :drama:

I think people are just wanting Love Island to take caution after Sophie's suspected suicide and she'd mentioned many times how the producers bullied her and deliberately did things to her that brought up her anxiety.

No, she didn’t commit suicide because of Love Island but she’s spoken out in the past how the producers used to play her anxiety to their advantage, locking her in a room on her own, sending Tom’s ex in of all people. It certainly contributed to a really bad mental state, though I’m fully aware she’s taken her life 2 years later. It’s still an important reminder that playing too strongly with the mental health of these people can cause problems. But, yes, people are being too sensitive over what was shown to Dani.
