Anyone have updated sales estimate for Dancing? I think it was around the 100k mark?

I reckon it's approaching that mark if not already passed.

It has to be very close if not over 100,000, as i believe it was near 80,000 when it last showed in the official Top 100.

Last known sales were 72k which was when it last showed Top 100. However, it was probably on 80k by the time it left the sales-only chart a few weeks later and I think, over the course of the summer, it will have been able to close the rest of the gap pretty well.

I think this will go Silver in the long run, which for a Kylie single released in 2018 is very impressive.

If its no already, it will easily pass 100,000 shortly.

Silver is highly unlikely for a very long time.

 

It will take a hell of a long time for dancing to double its sales.

:cheer: Would be surprised if it doesn’t return to the Top 40 on iTunes then! Should give the album a boost too - I love that it has become a legitimate hit.

I'm all for dancing getting as many sales possible, I love the song and it's her best single by far since all the lovers.

Something like the end of show performance like on Saturday Night Take Away but with songs from Golden.

Fingers crossed for an actual Strictly performance. They seem to like her and it seems the promo keeps on coming so I think it's likely.

Yes, they do appear to be fans of her and i think Kylie as a guest in general is very well liked as she is down to earth and has no diva behaviour which i think plays a huge part in her always getting such great promotion slots.

Ya I agree she does seem very well liked and I've never heard anyone say she is any different on or off camera.

A Strictly performance would be fantastic, hopefully that's in the pipeline! I'm sure it would do great things for Golden in Q4.

 

I was just thinking about Christmas/New Year's Top of the Pops too, I'd love it if Kylie could perform... although I'm not sure how likely that is unfortunately. However, with Golden being one of only nine albums to reach #1 in the UK this year so far (and one of only four albums able to make it to #1 during the dominance of The Greatest Showman OST), I feel like that success should be acknowledged and celebrated, given that these programmes are supposed to look back on a year of music. A Dancing performance on one of the episodes and a Stop Me From Falling performance on another would be so great!

That's a nice idea! Would love this to be so, guess it's not out of the question after she performed two songs on Sounds Like Friday Night. As you say, it would be a great way of acknowledging the success of the album and close what has been a tremendous 2018 for Kylie.

I wouldnt rule it out as they do seem to be a fan of her and she is still a big draw.
