Wtf is that artwork?!

Looking forward to hearing this. "My My My" was such a huge grower for me although it feels like ages since that was released!

There's a teaser on his new app (which you can get for free on the app store), it sounds like a bop *.* confirms it's out at 9pm PST on Wed 2nd May!! (so 5am Thursday in the UK)

It's been released, and here's the lyric video:

I was blown away by 'My My My!' on first listen, whereas this hasn't hit me as much - but it's a nice enough bop! Has a slight 'Teenage Dream' vibe in production, but it's more laid back than that song is. Maybe a little too long, I was finding it was beginning to sound a bit samey before the 3 minute mark.

It sounds weak on first listen IMO. Definitely a poor man’s ‘Teenage Dream’ and the whole ‘saving it for you’ bit is similar to ‘Froot’ by Marina.

His singles/album last time were pretty interesting, but I’ve been underwhelmed so far, this era.

This is nice enough, but it definitely isn’t wowing me like My My My

Yeah it’s decent but it again lacks the levels that the "Blue Neighbourhood" era had. This and "My My My!" just feel a little clinical; made for the masses. Which I guess was the way to go if he wants to break out big time.

I don't know, I like it that's more subtle than My my my, subtle is good

My my my was too much in-your-face, loved on 1st listen but ended up hating it by 5th listen

think none of the early singles like Wild or Youth were very instant, so this might be a good sign

Christ, this era has been SO underwhelming after the incredible 'Blue Neighborhood' album :(

Like others have said this is very Butlins Teenage Dream

The verses are so monotonous, the chorus doesn't pop off enough. So disappointed after the first two songs.

I'm loving this after a couple of listens, I'm finding it much more instant than "My My My". I agree with the "Teenage Dream" comparisons but it's a lot happier (for lack of a better word) than that and it feels more like a celebration than reminiscing on the past.
