May 16, 20187 yr nice to see this in the top 40 even if it's for a sad reason 33 New THE MIDNIGHT ORGAN FIGHT - FRIGHTENED RABBIT That album didn't chart in the UK originally, so it will definitely have a new peak (if it stays).
May 16, 20187 yr Did I hear correctly they Kylie Golden was up to 11 in midweeks? Wonderful if this is true, as it could make top 10 by end of week.

May 16, 20187 yr I expected Arctic Monkeys to be nearing 90k by now. I really do think they'll miss the 100k benchmark now! Edited May 16, 20187 yr by gavindeejay
May 16, 20187 yr Hoping for one of the new entries in the top 10 albums to drop below Kylie by Friday :D
May 16, 20187 yr Kylie i would think is in with a top 10 return now and in contrast the Magic Numbers are now facing competition to stay top 50 region. After some good releases and the delicious Anywhere Rita Ora has returned with a song that reminds me of why i wasnt a prior fan to her recent releases, its very disappointing. SuRie likely not to stay in the top 40 but i never expected more than a low top 100 entry so if she stays top 50 it is a good result for her.
May 17, 20187 yr That's an amazing run for Kylie, I can't believe how well this era has gone for her, she must be over the moon. Very happy with "In my blood" finally sneaking inside the top10, hope he stays there by Friday!
May 17, 20187 yr Quite disappointing sales for AM to be honest. Sales-wise they should've waited until Q4 with this, but of course they need new material for festivals so...
May 17, 20187 yr Quite disappointing sales for AM to be honest. Sales-wise they should've waited until Q4 with this, but of course they need new material for festivals so...I don't think much of what is on the new AM album would be suited to festivals. I like the album but it's not really the type of music that would sit well with their back catalogue at a gig.
May 17, 20187 yr Think AMs is doing really well considering there is no single beforehand just the hype of their comeback. Will sell decently over the festival season and it'll be one of the biggest openers of the year!
May 17, 20187 yr myself I'm very very very disappointed, thought they would have done 100K in day 1 but after listening to the album i understand why it's selling lower thane expected but actually I think if they had gone the usual route and done singles and grats, they would have sold even less, at least this way they got some curiosity streams from spotify
May 17, 20187 yr Are people overlooking the current sales climate? Those sales don't come around every week so I'd say they're doing mighty fine!
May 17, 20187 yr Are people overlooking the current sales climate? Those sales don't come around every week so I'd say they're doing mighty fine! Totally - I think they will be very happy to exceed the first week Sales of their 2011 Album when the Sales climate was really different. I can't think of many Artists on the Release Schedule this year that will exceed 100k (outside of the Christmas market).

I can't think of many Artists on the Release Schedule this year that will exceed 100k (outside of the Christmas market). Indeed and even at Xmas many albums don't open with 100k plus until Xmas week now!
May 17, 20187 yr Golden no 10 in the midweeks today, 500 copies behind no 9. dropped a lot today on ITunes. hopefully it can hold 10th but Cardi B looming
