It is a wonderful single.

Number 4 is a great peak but i do feel it was worthy of another top 3 place for Kylie in the charts.

I Should Be So Lucky - Always love a bit of classic Kylie and this was a perfect starting for such an amazing career that's still going strong today. I'll always have that nostalgic connection to this and how can you not like this, for a start its PWL at its finest and pure guilty pleasure pop in the finest form. This is the song that made me a Kylie fan in the first place, at such a young age 6 or 7 maybe (can't really remember all that well), and even remember having her first album on Vinyl with that iconic image of her beautiful blonde curls poking out of that hat, and of course this song was the first track and really set things off with a bang. Even still to this day, when I go through my Kylie playlist this will always have that special place on it and wouldn't feel right without it.

Step Back In Time - Surprised this has done so well, I knew this was well liked, but wow this is a welcome surprise. Another highlight from her PWL days and a true Kylie classic (she has so many). I know the 'ROL' was when she matured her image and sound, but the fact that she went and did this disco/pop number during this time, showed that she was still willing to have fun and showed another side to the album as well, this was a great follow up to monster hit 'BTDYK' and just yet another iconic Kylie classic.

Has 'Dancing' dropped yet, can't remember if it hasn't then I predict it could drop next and maybe 'Get Outta My Way'.

Not yet, no! :o

I would welcome Dancing making it to the Top 10 but it will likely be revealed soon.

I would place Dancing much ahead of Get Outta My Way.

Dancing is one if the few kylie songs I didn't like at first but ended up loving.Love step back in time too good upbeat single.

I would be disappointed if Confide In Me comes out on top again.

That would be worst outcome for me.

When I go out, I wanna go out dancing

14. Dancing // 8.41 (6: Monzo, Liam, Qween, Davidson, Jade // 10: SamJudd, Feel the Fever, Red Blooded Man, gooddelta, Regina, Stuart25, Nick Jonas, Tawdry Hepburn, pippa, Jay)

Revitalised by her Nashville experience, Kylie returned at the start of the year with 'Dancing'; an effortless blend of country flavours and her trademark pop sound. The lyrics initially appear as a call for a night out on the town, but repeated listens uncover references to mortality and living life to the fullest. However the message is interpreted, the song remains a euphoric, feel-good anthem, sung with a warm, passionate vocal delivery. Whilst being such a recent release has likely helped 'Dancing' enter so high on this countdown, its frequent iTunes returns and the positive reactions to it as the Golden Tour closing number suggests that it will prove itself worthy of placing among Kylie's best singles.

La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la

13. Can't Get You Out of My Head // 8.47 (0: Nick F1, 3: Liam // 11: Jay, 10: SamJudd, Feel the Fever, Red Blooded Man, blacksquare, Qween, Nick Jonas, pippa, Michael Andrew, liamk97, Hide&Seek, Jade)

From the most recent of hits to the biggest, the success of 'Can't Get You Out of My Head' was stratospheric. It passed through the hands of S Club 7 and Sophie Ellis-Bextor before falling at Kylie's door, who was immediately hooked and was eager to secure the song. It's a deceptively simple song; a collection of hooks held together by a pulsing bassline, but the choice not to overthink the structure is what separated it from everything else on the pop scene. Radio took it to their hearts, allowing it to become the first to gain over 3000 plays in a week and spend a record breaking eight weeks on top of the airplay charts, and the commercial and cultural impact was heightened by the futuristic music video, sporting four memorable Kylie looks, including the iconic, daring white playsuit. Topping the charts in 40 countries, 'Can't Get You Out of My Head' absolutely lives up to its title and remains one of the biggest classics in pop history.
Dancing - Glad this has done so well on here, a well deserved result and a fantastic comeback for Kylie, definitely the best thing she's done in years, a very refreshing new but not all that different sound for her and yeah its a shame it didn't peak higher than #38, coz it feels so much bigger. A great song and was probably the best choice to lead the album.

Can't Get You Out Of My Head - Thought this would be higher and deserves to be at least top 10 on here, considering it's not only the biggest hit of her career and of course put her into the big leagues, but also a fantastic song that well and truly cemented her as a pop culture icon, and okay the overplay did kill it a bit, still a fine number and something she'll always be remembered for.

'In My Arms', 'Get Outta My Way' or maybe 'What Do I Have To Do' may drop next..

I think 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head' seems to suffer from being Kylie's signature song sometimes. Everyone generally likes it but I think a fair few people think they could easily name 5 or 10 songs they prefer. I know I've had times where I've felt like that over the years but I can definitely say it's one of my favourites now.

"Deceptively simple" was a phrase I read and loved (so stole it for my commentary); it just fits my feelings for the song so well. It's kinda hard to pinpoint exactly what you like about the song because naming any of the hooks just makes it sound like a basic song... it is just one of those rare moments where everything just effortlessly comes together and works. I think the video is a main selling point as it's hard to think of or listen to the song without picturing it and the strength of the video rubs off on the song itself.
