2017 is the 20th anniversary for Steps and last night all their social media pages at midnight changed to say 2017 was the year of Steps.

They are going on tour!

I'd be intrigued to go if they do a tour. Would need to find someone to go with, unless one of you wants to be my buddy haah.
Hoping for a tour Late Summer/Early Fall so I can save up some money and goooooo.
Yes they are making a comeback this year. I knew this 6 month back as I was staying in a house with there musical director (who has worked with them over all eras including H & Claire). They are doing a world tour.

They had some success in Belgium, Australia, New Zealand and Japan but I'm not sure any of those markets would have enough interest for shows? A world tour for them would be a push as most countries they have not troubled the Top 100

Melbourne & Sydney would sell out if it were a small venue.

Vengaboys did well here apparently as have B*Witched with recent 90's pop tours.

According to Kirsten (friend of mine and their musical director) they sold 30 million albums internationally and were big in most places except the US.

Legit looking at flying out - looking to make a trip out of this as it would be my first time in London.

Recommendation on a nice hotel in Downtown London?

Does the 02 Arena make the most sense?

THANKS IN ADVANCE *.*

I can recommend The Pilot Inn in Greenwich. It's literally a 10 minute walk from the O2 - in fact it overlooks the green towards the O2 but it's a beautiful hotel with a pub and restaurant also. I stayed there on the last Olly Murs tour so I would highly recommend!

Thanks, that looks really nice.

My friend recommended SoHo as a place to stay. I don't mind travelling for the concert as I'd like to stay 4 to 5 additional nights to see London.

Two hotels I was looking at was the Hamptons by Hilton London Waterloo and Leicester Square (SoHo).

Both look like nice, very touristy area's which is what I'm looking for.

Hopefully getting tickets today! Wonder how much tickets will cost

They've got some very brave venues here. The O2 Arena AND Wembley?

I hope the tour sells well for them, I'm holding off for a bit to get tickets, as I'm broke, but would love to see them again, it was great in 2012.

Didn't they end up doing a really small scale tour in late 2012? Was that a sell out?
