Album down from 32 to 37 in today's update. So many 5 pound albums floating around. It seems to have gone up on ituens and Amazon today though so fingers crossed

Well she has tweeted she is singing it live on BBC radio 2 in the morning. Wonder if there will be 59p price reduction? Remix? Physical? New Music Friday Spotify? Something else planned? That tweet where she was not pink and with perm sure has something else to it....

If all like you mentioned was done in the one week it would greatly help it's chart position.

Celebrating the release of your new single on a prime spot and then not singing it or mentioning it is an odd move though tbh. But whatever, regardless it’s going to do zero in the charts and it’s all about album sales now.

I don't understand why she didn't perform it, but once the album benefits from its release i will be happy if that is the outcome.

I've been playing this a lot in the past week, including today when the sun was out and I had it blaring from my car speakers! This wasn't one of my main favourites from the album to begin with (although I of course loved it and could see the logic in it being a single) but now I think it has grown to become one of the highlights.

 

The yodelling intro/post-chorus and the "we're the voice that'll never give in..." melody gets stuck in my head and makes me so happy.

Golden has grown on me but i would still have preferred a different choice for third single.

What is impact date for the single?
