What was that eagle celebration all about when Xhaka and Shaqiri scored?

They are both of Kosovan decent - the symbol was the Albanian eagle I think. Xhakas dad actually was part of the war although I can't remember what part the article I read said.

Anyway, I can see a victory for Switzerland against Costa Rica. I reckon it will be a close game between Serbia and Brazil, with Brazil prevailing.

 

 

I do like supporting the underdogs so I shall be supporting Serbia tonight against Brazil.

Serbia ran Switzerland pretty close and Brazil haven't really been on the best form so far, if there wasn't enough shocks today, I could see there being room for another there.

It seems very unlikely there will be another shock today. Its more likely I think that Brazil will come out playing well and comfortably win.

They don't really have to, if they hammer out a 0-0 draw with Switzerland it would be a decent result for them!

Great goal for Brazil! Although Serbia have been good so I can see them equalising.

As good as Mitro is as a target man I can't see them scoring - think as Serbia inevitably have to go for broke they could pick them off and get well beaten. Hope I'm wrong tho!

Serbia are ready putting pressure on Brazil

Brazil now surely through to the second round. Serbia will rue those chances they had in the last few minutes.

 

 

Yep Serbia had quite a few chances and were playing very well at one stage. Was hoping they would equalise. They kind of gave up a bit/got tired after the second Brazilian goal.

Brazil barely got out of 2nd gear and Neymar is nowhere near his best. The team to beat now the Germans are out...
