I think it was fine killing off Roxy but killing Ronnie too was a step too far! At least Roxy's death being drugs related would have fitted with the preceding storyline that had been running for her most of the year. But Ronnie too was just so random and out of nowhere and in no way benefitted the show (whether you liked her or not). Roxy was dispensable but Ronnie was too big of a character and draw to write out for good.

Agreed, I did like Roxy but it would have been enough of a big shock storyline if she died alone (and would have made more sense). It was depressing and short sighted to kill them both off, it made a huge impact at the time and was a huge episode but a couple of days after it was pretty much all done. What was wrong with just Roxy dying, Ronnie deciding one too many bad things had happened and going to wherever it was with Jack? That would have got rid of her if the producer was THAT set on it, but another producer still has the chance to bring her back for the latest Mitchell crisis or whatever. I suppose it fit Ronnie's whole tragic heroine arc that she got dragged down too on her wedding day of all days and she could only have her happy ending for a few hours but ughhh

I actually felt Roxy had more to give and Ronnie was pretty much spent. Although both could easily have just left and not died. Ronnie could have gone for a longer stretch in prison once he crimes caught up with her and Roxy could have left to get herself sorted out. Jack could still have Amy and even Matthew if Ronnie were still alive and both would have been able to return. Personally I’d like to have seen Roxy without Ronnie again minus the Alfie affair.

Deaths have been so shit recently if you consider that Steven and Abi were also needlessly killed. I know they’ve hatched a storyline from Abi’s death but Lauren really was the spent character out of those sisters.

As I said, if they can do something good with Amy, the Mitchell deaths might be worth it in the long run, but I won’t hold my breath.

Ronnie was an excellent villain. If Roxie had died they could have had a longer and bigger reaction with Ronnie around. They ruined it.

They’re not making Mick look particularly bright, are they? I feel like we’re supposed to hate the detective but I just end up hating Mick for acting like a twat, same as he does to doctors/nurses when they’re just doing their job.

Sharon and Keanu still the best thing in the show right now.

Keanu in his boxers for the first 5 minutes for Scene of the Year.

Omg this

There's more to a few minutes of his arse than this whole Stuart storyline tbh *.*

Mick almost naked a few weeks ago as well, what have I done to deserve this? *.*

How thick are the Carter clan? How could Stuart shoot himself, hide the gun under the bar and drag himself to the iamspamspamamiwithout bleeding on anything?

This will probably be the solution though :drama:

I hope this storyline ends very soon.

While the storyline was meant to be about Tina, she is totally sidelined in it.

Well Hayley's mum was a DELIGHT....
I figured out where I remember her from, she was the meals on wheels lady in Miranda  Lovely viewing x
